[ This public room is dark, but various figures within it are highlighted by the dim blue light being cast from the television screen as the movie plays. One such figure is that of a girl lying on the floor, a pillow under her chin as she watches a quiet intersection of the city. A man comes into view, alone in every sense of the word. The music starts; a soft, chilly tune that makes Kairi's fingers dig into the pillow in suspenseful anticipation.

Some sort of mutilated, rabid human being covered in blood makes its entrance, hurrying after the man who is just now realizing the danger he's in as the music soars up into shrill notes. The noise makes Kairi act as if electricity has just been sent through her body as she gives a jolt only to proceed to squirm in concern for the man being chased by the zombie.

Leave it to a Princess of Heart to enjoy watching horror movies. Somebody ought to hold her still, take her attention elsewhere, chill out and watch the movie with her, or slap a hand over her mouth before she screams. ]

[Ever since the Halloween horror movie session, Riku's been a bit wary of those types of films though he totally won't admit it, but he's curious and what the heck. A Kairi isn't who he expected to find watching these kind of movies though. Hope you don't mind the tense silence being broken.]

...Zombies?

[ When a word breaks into the air that isn't coming from the television, Kairi comes to the logical conclusion that a zombie has entered the room and is going to eat her. Sorry, Riku. Hopefully that scream she lets out doesn't hurt your ears too badly, and don't take that pillow she's throwing at you too personally. She just doesn't want to be monster meat.

Just a second after the fact, the voice registers in her head and Kairi sits up on the floor to smile sheepishly. ]

Oh, I'm sorry, Riku. I didn't realize it was you.

[Catches that pillow out of reflex, an amused look in place.]

Didn't mean to sneak up on you.

[ Bloodcurdling screams are coming from the TV, where the man's face is being gnawed off, but Kairi is now tuning it out in favor of looking up at Riku through the dark. As far as she can tell, he has no distinguishing physical traits that would set him apart from her Riku back home. She'll have to figure out another way to recognize him! ]

Well that's worse, isn't it? That I could be snuck up on unintentionally?

[ She laughs, patting the floor next to her. ]

Did you come to watch or to tell me it's too loud?

[Even in average light, he's not too unique. Maybe just a touch older-looking, but it can be hard to tell. Besides, he's coming over to sit down with her.]

The former. Haven't watched anything like this in a while.

[pokes his head in, having heard the sounds of screams coming from in here. seeing it's just a movie he relaxes, then notices the girl watching it.

brb sneaking up on her to lightly grab her shoulders from behind]

[ Kairi's eyes are glued to the television screen warily, as if the only possible danger could come from there. Roxas gets away with sneaking up and grabbing her by the shoulders, although however lightly he may have intended it to be, Kairi's new adrenaline rush makes the contact feel a lot greedier to her, but she doesn't vocalize just yet; rather, the adrenaline has her caught up in action.

There's another jolt from her as she strikes without thinking. What's that? Roxas might be getting hit square in the face with a pillow if he's not careful, and Kairi's struggling to roll out from under his hands. ]

[grabs the pillow and hugs it as he steps back, his eyes crinkled up as he laughs, though no actual laughter is heard.]

[ Rolling over onto her back on the floor, she stares up at the pillow-stealer. She can still feel her heart thumping in her chest, but she certainly doesn't feel threatened anymore. She had never really got to know her Sora's Roxas, but if he was a part of Sora, then he had to be good. This Roxas seemed friendly enough, anyway! She flashes a grin up at him before reaching out—twisting a bit if need be—to try to grab hold of Roxas's ankle in order to give him a playful pull. ]

[-pull successful! his expression is probably priceless, as he wasn't expecting her to retaliate. the pillow goes flying as his arms shoot up in the air, and he's brought down embarrassingly easily]

[ Why do things sneak up on her!

Just a minute, there's a small yelp as Kairi jumps up into a sitting position—hopefully not knocking any heads as she does so—and turns her head, alarmed. ]

[ Wide eyes relax once she realizes it's Sora, and gives a melodramatic huff before reaching out to pull on Sora's cheek. ]

What are you doing, sneaking up on me? I thought you were going to eat me!

[ Oh, hey... This Sora especially would probably be the most comfortable about zombies. Don't mind the fact that she's sliding just a tiny bit closer. ]

[Hey look, Sora is bringing a bowl of popcorn into the room, intending to watch his own movie, but he got hit square in the face with a zombie flick instead! Watch Sora creep up to Kairi, and watch him put one of his hand on his shoulder, kinda already sorta prepared in case she lashed out or screamed.]

[ She'll be putting those preparations of his to the test, then, because although she catches the scent of popcorn a moment before she feels the hand on his shoulder, she's too wrapped up in zombies to put two and two together before her reflexes kick in.

And, boy, does Kairi know how to pulls off some backward kicks from the floor. Sora's bowl of popcorn might just be victimized if he's not holding onto it too tightly. ]

[Sora took a step backward as his unoccupied hand parried the kick. His other hand faces the danger of dropping the popcorn bowl on the floor, which he won't let go with his life!]

[ Oh. Oh. She knows that voice. Kairi calms down after a couple seconds of struggling, and she's peering over her shoulder. ]

Sora, you scared me!

[Bah, horror flicks? That's his life, dearie, so don't mind him as he paces in and sits next to her. He shifts onto his stomach, wrists crossed as he sets his chin upon it. His tail keep swinging from left to right. Left to right.]

He's going to trip, isn't he?

[ Catching him out of the corner of her eye, Kairi's well aware of him before he sits down, so she isn't taken by surprise when he lies on his stomach beside her. She's thankful that he's here—although she's not sure how well he'd be able to fend off any zombies that had been set loose—and that question earns a tiny frown on her part as she keeps her eyes on the screen. ]

I hope not...

[ But no, the man trips just seconds later, and with his balance lost, he falls in the street. He desperately tries to scramble to his feet, but zombie throws itself at him before he can succeed. The zombie bites down on the man's nose, shaking its head violently like some sort of animal trying to tear up its meat. That nose comes off, and there's blood everywhere as the zombie continues molesting the man's face over the noise of his screams.

Kairi sinks a bit where she lies, averting her eyes from the screen for a moment. ]

Good guess. Have you seen this before?

[Oh, he can take on his own demons quite well, not that she'll probably ever live to see that day. One ear flicks, and he narrows his eyes at the screen before the blood spills and he covers his eyes. ... earperk, he peeks out from his fingers. Then covers them again.]

No, but his body made it obvious...

[ Kairi's watching him sympathetically for the moment, because she'd rather not look at that man's face, now that one would be hard-pressed to identify it as human. ]

Oh...

[ She glances back at the screen to see if she can spot the flaws in the actor's anatomy herself, but the angle of the camera only allows for a good view of the man being disemboweled now. Kairi's face might have just a pale green tint to it as she hides her face in her pillow. Yech. ]

[Don't feel bad, Kairi, it's just Roxas' supersensitive senses. Sight included. He looks over at her and gently presses on that pillow so it hides her face. It's not nice for a girl to see this, anyway.]
