[ Unaffected? Check. Bored? Check.

It's been a rather dull few weeks. With no sign of his Master and no sign of Ventus, he's resorted to sneaking around and occasionally spying on the residents. It's strange, to him, how so many look remarkably like Ventus, yet are completely different in all other aspects. Rikus have also proven fascinating to him, mostly due to their darkness.

Speaking of darkness, Vanitas has decided to do a little test. In short, he's let a few stray Unversed into the hall from who-knows-where, all while keeping completely out of sight.

Beware. They're kind of large and surrounded by smaller Unversed as well. Consider them... bait. ]

[ ooc; I have a small request: I'd like the brainbreak for Vanitas to be kept to a minimum if at all possible. Event folks are more than welcome, of course, as are anyone-- I just don't want him to be too mortified. There won't be spoilers right now, so long as you don't look at his userpic page, which contains icons of his face. I will not be using them here, so no worries.

[ Indeed it is! In fact, the DR is actually playing the battle theme. Odd, but not enough to distract Vanitas from fighting.

He jumps back, shooting some thundery magic. Shocking, eh? ]

[ ... distracted for a second, looking around to see where the music's coming from, so that spell hits him pretty much dead-on. Have a Strike Raid the second he's recovered from that, Vanitas. ]

[ Did you know that Aqua's not the only one who can cartwheel?

Because he's doing that right now. ]

[ ... ... what. Catches his Keyblade when it comes back and ... tries an Aero spell on him. ]

[ D-d-d-dodge. Now, hopping up into the air and starting to slam that weapon down! Enjoy the nasty impact, as he'll be doing that a few times. &hearts ]

[ ow ow ow my HP ow. Gets thrown back, landing hard. ]

[ Once he lands, Vanitas doesn't hesitate to attack again, dashing forward to deliver a combo. ]

[ AUGH. Dodge rolls, putting a little distance between them and attacking. ]

[ Hah! He'll just hop up and cast some of that nasty thunder magic. ]

[ hgdgs health flashing red. Maybe if he keeps dodge rolling and doesn't get too dizzy-- ]

[ SLAM. Nope, sorry. Not giving up, bub. ]

[ Yeah, very close to passing out here. One more hit should do it. o/ ]

[ HIT GET! And with that he'll dismiss his Keyblade, shaking his head. How disappointing. He was expecting more out of a duplicate, Ven body or not. ]
