[she squeals a little and waves her arms at Kairi. she has gotten quite good at saying her own name and will happily say it as many times as she's asked.]

*she smiles, still confused, but picks up the little girl with a grunt, settling her on her hip and kind of surprised she hasn't started to cry yet B| she isn't very good with kids*

A bunch of people suddenly wound up with kids. She showed up in my room yesterday.

[Amaya is quite distracted from this conversation by Kairi's pretty hair ;; don't worry, she's not pulling much!]

*her eyes are as wide as dinner plates, and is now staring at Amaya in wonder, unable to think of something to say -- she just uses her free hand and smoothes down Amaya's hair*
