[People have all kinds of different reasons to hate their lives in the dressing room. The Riku sitting in the kitchen looks uncomfortable and overall miserable, using a knife to poke at a small cake that she has no desire to eat. Playing with her food aside, she has good table manners; her napkin's folded neatly across her lap.]

[cake? there's a little dude inching closer to the table, eyeing that cake like a preying hawk.]

[fffff a kid-- a tiny Sora. Are you serious? The knife stops, and she glances at at him.]

Hey?

Hi! Where'd you get the cake?

[She's not really that good with kids, and her silence should speak volumes about that. She points to the counter, where there are a few small white boxes piled next to the toaster. Plus one open, empty one.]

[oh boy, cake before dinner! Sora unfortunately has very little tact, or understanding that he might make people uncomfortable, so he grabs himself a box of cake, plops it down on the table next to Riku, then scooches a chair on over so he can sit right next to her. he should probably get a fork... naaaaaah.]

[Fair enough. Kids are social enough as it is -- the fact that he's a Sora makes this even less surprising. She does lift an eyebrow at his choice of where to sit, and leans just a little in the opposite direction.]

Think you should get something to eat that with?

I've got something to eat it with, Miss Riku lady!

[wiggles his fingers at her.]

[Saw that one coming a mile away. Er.]

You can call me Riku if you want.

But how would you know I was talking to you if I didn't call you Miss Riku lady?

[though, come to think of it, he does know other Miss Riku ladies.. Sora snatches himself a handful of cake and starts eating, looking quite thoughtful.]

You look at people when you're talking to them, don't you?

[She sets the knife on the table, propping her chin up in her hand. Kids are good at distracting from problems, at least.]

Well.. Yeah, but.. But what if you're in the room with a million billion other Miss Riku ladies, an' I wanted to talk to you? What would I call you?

I don't know. But I haven't even seen any... Rikus here that were girls.

[Not obviously so, anyway.]

That's ok! You can be... Miss Riku cake lady! That way when I call you, you'll know I'm talking to you!

[ah, geez, Sora. Riku unfortunately might be stuck with that name.]

Miss Riku cake lady?

[Sora were you always this silly.]

[that's definitely a yes.]

Uh huh! 'Cause you're eating cake!

Yeah, but...

[You're failing at finding an argument there, Riku.]

Yeah! So you're Miss Riku cake lady now, okay?

[That's a tiny smirk.]

Do I have to?

Yup! Well.. do you got a better name?

[She shakes her head.]

Can't say I do.

Then.. Miss Riku cake lady!

[returns to his own cake for a few minutes, before piping up again.]

So, do you got a Keyblade?

Yeah, I do.

[She's a bit surprised to hear him mention it, though she probably shouldn't be.]

Do you fight with its lots? I'm too little to have a Keyblade, but I got a p'tend one!

[Well, that gets a smirk.]

Only when I have to. Where'd you get that?

It was a Christmas present! Will you teach me how to fight?

If you want me to?

[What is she getting herself into?]

Yeah! You're Muss Riku cake lady, so you're really really hardcore!

Hardcore, huh?

[Well, she's not denying it.]

Uh huh! You're super hardcore! So you can teach me, right?
