[Lurking in the darkness of this hallway is... something that's not like most Heartless. It's small, only about the size of a Shadow, though it's not very visible at the moment aside from the glowing yellow eyes. Anyone who approaches shall need to FEND FOR THEIR LIVES SHOULD IT CHOOSE TO ATTACK. I mean.]

[Well she's not seeing whatever is down the hall since she's carrying a plate with some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, humming idly.]

[Those eyes get brighter, and the shadow starts foooooollowing her down the hall slowly, creeping along the edge just behind her now.]

[A small hand is reaching out of the darkness to grab at her ankle.

Oof! [Down she goes! Bye bye sandwiches! Rolls and sits up to see what it was and lets out a startled sound, trying to yank her leg away.] Wha--

[It stops looking for potential food at the voice, eyes drifting up and over to that vague familiarity. At first, there's no sign of any sort of intelligence, but then confusion slowly makes its way into its eyes.]

[It senses some kind of danger, different than the kind it would normally need to be aware of, and starts shifting away along the bottom of the wall. If it manages to get some distance between them, it'll come out from hiding, but for now it will just attempt to flee. Kind of.]

[Well this guy's just at the whim of his own terrible luck, as usual. Taking an idle stroll and a wrong turn down a hallway. Wait, what's that?]

[...Well. Is that another vaguely familiar presence? The darkness surges slightly, moving forward as Axel comes closer.]

[He hesitates, even goes so far as to take a step back. This sort of situation never ends well for him...] What...?

[There might be a pair of tiny hands comin' up atchu there, Axel~! Better watch your step.]

[But--! Aw, man. In an effort to avoid those hands, eyes going wide, he stumbles back and lands flat on his ass with a yelp, wincing. Goooood job, Axel.]

[just passing through the hall, not at all bothered by the darkness. slides right past the glowing yellow eyes, tail swishing by right next to the thing~]

[That is indeed interesting; it's going to reach out of the darkness and grab onto that tail.]

[hisses sharply in surprise and whisks his tail around, with or without the little shadow attached, coiling up so he can see what it is. good luck keeping a grip on those scales, little dude.]

[It goes flying when the tail suddenly moves, scrabbling to keep hold but failing miserably and disappearing into shadow again before it hits the far wall.]

[grumbles irritably, but slithers over to it, leaning down to peer at it suspiciously, tongue flicking out, and pokes at it with a sharp claw.]

[Right back at you, buddy. It pauses in its searching to peek out of the darkness.]

[Just sort of peers into the darkness, as if he can see what's in there.

Also, despite being all but covered in darkness he is still a Sora where it counts, and still has a heart. It probably reads as being that of a Keybearer, not that he can summon the Keyblade just now.]

[Well, it technically has a heart, too. It's just completely drenched in darkness. But the Keybearer thing sends off a bunch of bad pings and soon that darkness is hissing at Sora, teeth gleaming dully as a small face becomes barely visible.]

[Sora shifts restlessly at that. He's never been one to attack unprovoked, although he can tell that it certainly looks like a Heartless.]
