[Mom!Xene is having a bad day again.

She heads down the hall towards the medical room with a sniffly, grumpy, feverish baby in her arms. She would have used the stroller, but Akane started crying again when she put her in it.

Larxene's not sure if there's a such thing as cold medicine for babies, but she really hopes so. They both need a nap.

Isn't parenthood great?]

[There is a Saix walking down the hallway, actually standing close to the medical room. He happens to notice Larxene and Akane and the sniffles of the baby. His eyebrow arches, but there is concern in his eyes. Don't worry Larxene, he's actually a nice Saix.]

No actually, my race created the tea long long ago, and it's safe to use on newborn infants, it would be safe for her. But I understand if you are wary of taking something from a Saix.

I wouldn't recommend giving her any medicine, but there are a few different things you can do to make her more comfortable. And get more sleep.

Use saline solution from the bathroom and squirt a little into her nose. Then you have to suck the snot out with a bulb. That will make her breathe better and feel less fussy.

Well, find a humidifier and put it in her room where she sleeps. It'll help keep the air moist and cool.

I'm sure there are other books in the library... when Rikka had colds, I just made sure he had plenty of fluids and kept his nose clear. And of course made him rest plenty. Oh! You can also make sure her head is elevated. Put like, a towel folded up under her head in her crib. Just a little elevation helps, too.
