[ Why do new arrivals end up on the floor? Who knows. He, however, is clad in small, silver armor--and looking quite tired. He doesn't even seem to notice where he is, at first, because he's so busy trying to keep himself upright and not keel over. He's sitting against the wall, legs spread out in a V, with his hands on either side. The way his head keeps hanging, he's obviously near exhaustion and won't last too much longer without a bed or some food. He groans, and tries to stand up, almost toppling over and falling the first time, on his hands and knees.

He sucks in a breath and pushes himself up, forcefully, grabbing onto the wall to keep himself steady. Even as he stands, however, his knees are starting to shake and he sort of... collapses to the side, on one knee. ]

I can't believe it... I can't even move.

[ Flinches back to stare at the hand, then the body attached. ... he's familiar, for some reason, enough for him to grasp his hand without a second thought. ]

[puuuulls him up with a grin.]

Rolling on a flat surface actually takes a lot more effort than some people realize.

[ He seriously stumbles, so be ready to catch a possibly falling Sora, Kai. ]

[-whoops, catches him with a quiet 'oof' before laughing.]

Maybe we should just find you a couch before I explain what's going on.

[ Shaky laugh. ]

A-and food? Or water? Mayybe both?

Well, the closest kitchen is a bit far, so how about we get you to a couch, and I'll go grab something for you?

Uh--... I probably can't really move that much. I guess I should let you.

Alright, c'mon. Pretty sure there's somewhere to sit just a few rooms down.

[ It's still sort of difficult to walk, just because his feet ache something terrible. Oh, and so do his shoulders. And knees. And all of his skin. Okay, pretty much everything. ]

...I can try carrying you, if you need it.

[because he doesn't want to cause him more pain. :<]

[ He goes red and shakes his head vigorously. ]

[...okay trying not to chuckle.]

Alright.

[ Just hobblin' along, muttering things under his breath. ]

[politely ignores the muttering, pushing the door open to a sitting room. that looks like a pretty comfy chair couch over there.]

Here we go.

[ Collaspes into it in a smooth, albiet exhausted motion. ]

Th-thanks.

No problem. Did you want something specific for food, or should I just surprise you? The kitchens have pretty much everything.

[ He shakes his head with a sort of sheepish smile. ]

Whatever's gonna be easiest...

Alright. I'll be back shortly.

[in that case, he'll be back in a bit with a stack of different kinds of sandwiches and a jug of water~!]

[ Don't be too shocked if he's about to enter la-la land when you come back, Kai. ]

You still alive over there, Sora?

[sets the plate down on the little coffee table near the couch.]

--yeah!

[ Jerks back up, looking over at him--and then he tilts his head. ]

How'd you know my name?

That's part of what I'm going to explain to you. Do I look familiar at all?

[takes a seat in a chair on the other side of the coffee table.]

[ He tilts his head a little, and squints. ]

Yeah, but... I know a lot of people...
