[ Riku's found herself lying on a couch in one of the common rooms that isn't frequented very often. There's a baby bag on the floor beside her, and a baby on her stomach. Aden's looking quite happy and awake right now, a small blanket thrown over his back (in case she needs to hastily cover him). Mommy's chest makes for a good pillow, and he has a rattle clutched in one hand, which he is occasionally using to smack her in the chin.

Riku's got her eyes on the hand-drawn December calendar she's holding - the date written at the top is several years into the future. ]

[Riku's reaction time is immediate! Being covered makes Aden laugh, and the rattle sticks out the edge.]

[He's totally ignoring her and grabbing that snake first before standing, blinking at her. He clearly didn't expect to run into her again.]

[Yeah, she wasn't expecting to see him, either. She drops the calendar on the floor, draping both hands over Aden's back.]

Not mine, surprisingly! Saw it slithering into a different room and decided to grab it.
