[ You know, when Riku found this room, she thought it would be interesting to explore. A giant room with giant toys. Nutcrackers, mostly, with some other classic toys - dolls, ballerinas, wooden blocks, and porcelain clowns... She thought she'd hang around for a bit, maybe experience life as a doll. Then the giant music box caught her eye, and she just had to investigate. That's how she wound up in this mess.

Not that you could immediately tell it was her. See, the only visible part of her is from the waist down. The music box? Locked, with a keyhole. Apparently she tried to get inside... And now she's stuck. Perfect. ]

Y-Yeah, me too.

[Follows after her, now shoving his hands back into his pockets. He's keeping his eyes on the ground to hide his blush as well, looking kind of. sad. all of the sudden.]

[She's a little focused on the ridiculous outfit she's wearing, so she does a slight double-take when she glances over and sees him looking like that.]

What?

[Glances up, before his eyes dart right back down to the floor.]

It's.. nothing.

[Raises an eyebrow at that, not really believing it.]

You sure about that?

[Just. lets out a sigh.]

It's just... every time I get stuck under the mistletoe with someone other than Namine, I feel kind of guilty.

But it's stupid, I mean she gets stuck all the time...

[Frowns.]

Yeah, it is kind of stupid. It's not your fault this place hates us all.

Only sometimes...

I really doubt this has anything to do with Karma.

Really? Try kissing your best friend-- .... both of them-- in front of your significant other and see how guilty you feel when it happens again.

[Narrows her eyes.]

Pretty sure you don't need to talk to me about guilt, Roxas.

I'm sure I don't. But that doesn't mean karma isn't coming after me for all the shitty things I've done in life.

If you want to look at it that way, then maybe this place is what we deserve. Most of the people here have done something bad enough to be punished for.

[Shakes his head.]

There are too many good people here for that to be true. Maybe it's just the things that happen to us directly.

I wasn't serious. But I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, for those of us who deserve it.

[Nods a little.]

Though all the psychos here.. they go untouched half the time.

Not by people like us.

[Frowns.]

Maybe that's the point. Maybe we're supposed to be better than that.

Maybe...

[She isn't sure how she feels about that idea.]

[After a moments thought, just lets out a long sigh.]

Whatever, let's just. forget it ever happened.

Right.

[It's not like she planned to bring it up again. ...Either of them.]

[He'll just be walking silently, then.]
