[ A certain little Kairi has decided today is a good day to poll the dressing room. She's snatched a thick pad of paper and some red and green markers from the art room, which she's carrying around in bag thrown over her shoulder. Her cat - a lanky orange tabby - is following her around, and by the look (and sound) of things, Kairi has tied some silver bells to his collar. Maybe that's why he looks so cranky.

Now, they're patrolling the main room and surrounding areas, occasionally going up to someone and tugging on their (or perhaps your) sleeve, or shirt, or whatever happens to be in reach for a little girl. ]

[... Oh Kairi. Trees don't think that way, but he won't say a thing about that.]

Well, Christmas trees are meant to be decorated and enjoyed during the holidays. It's, ah... something I assume they would be grateful for.

Ohhhh. Okay! I bet you're right! I'd wanna be a Christmas tree too, if I was a tree.

[runs off to pick one out.]

[Aww. He'll trail after her, just in case she needs help]

[She's going to find one that's the same height as her!]

[Aw, Kairi-sized tree.

Well, if she needs help lifting it, then he's here to help.]

[...are you kidding, of course she'll need help. she's seven. and tiny.]

[Well, alrighty!]

Would you like some help, Kairi?

... Uh huh! I waaaant... this one!

[points at a tree about her size, and more or less Christmas-tree material. even it's kind of fluffy around the bottom.]

Once it's open he'll place the tree somewhere in the room.]

[oh um. he'll have to wait until she's done scrambling to push toys away.]

[Alright! He'll hold still for the time being.]

[it doesn't take her long. she just shoves them in a big pile.]
