[ A certain little Kairi has decided today is a good day to poll the dressing room. She's snatched a thick pad of paper and some red and green markers from the art room, which she's carrying around in bag thrown over her shoulder. Her cat - a lanky orange tabby - is following her around, and by the look (and sound) of things, Kairi has tied some silver bells to his collar. Maybe that's why he looks so cranky.

Now, they're patrolling the main room and surrounding areas, occasionally going up to someone and tugging on their (or perhaps your) sleeve, or shirt, or whatever happens to be in reach for a little girl. ]

[Hallo kitty. Looks down at it curiously.]

Uh huh. Oh. He's not really a Axel. I just named him that.

[bends over and picks him up under his front legs. jingle jingle.]

'Cause he looks like one! Kinda.

[hefts him up a bit. Axel blinks up at Red. indeed, he is reddish orange and has greenish eyes. he looks like a cat. mrow.]

...I guess so.

[Will Axel accept pettins.]

[of course he will. he doesn't bite. often.]

Well... An' when I got him there was a Axel here who was my friend.

[Cautious pettins, then.]

Was, huh.

Yeah... I think he went home.

[shifts her kitty a little so she can hold him better. Axel is enjoying pettins.]

[Excellent. He'd rather not get scratched.]

That's too bad.

[Kairi would make sure to get him bandaids if he did. but no, Axel's purring.]

Welllll... I hope he's okay.

[He'll stop after a few more pettins though.]

He probably is.

[that'll get a meow of protest. but Kairi's smiling!]
