[the doorway to this kitchen has been completely cleared of snow - though it's already started filling in again - and wafting out from the mostly closed door is the strong smell of something quite delicious. there are also several thermoses of hot chocolate lining the counter, as well as more on the way. Kai's standing in front of the stove where there's a huge pot of beef stew being made, dressed in a heavy sweater with bandages peeking out of the collar of it. there's a big jacket on the table, probably what he came in with, and his rabbit is curled up inside it to keep warm. compared to out in the hall, the kitchen is quite warm. he's not very fond of the cold, and would love to stay in his room curled up with Axel until all the snow is gone, but he knows there are people in the dressing room who don't have that option, so of course he wants to help them. everyone is welcome to come in and have some stew or hot chocolate~. or both, of course.]

[someone is following their nose more than anything, one hand on the wall as he makes his way slowly down the hall and into the warmth of the kitchen. he's never actually experienced snow, and trial and error led him to a nearby closet with coats in it. unfortunately, the one he's wearing is bright pink.]

[well, at the sound of a voice, he pauses in stirring the stew and turns, raising a bit of an eyebrow at the pink coat.]

[pauses at the tone of your voice, subtly running a hand down the front of his shirt and pants. he doesn't know for sure what color they are either, but as they were nice and neat in his room's closet he's hoping they match]

Is alright to come in?

[well, now he's smiling, because it doesn't really matter as long as it does the job, right?]

I've got stew and hot chocolate made. You want some?

[Oh, that smells good. And the blast of warmth as Xeha opens the door is even better. While he's wrapped up pretty well, anything like that's more than welcome...]

[everyone? an attitude like that might get you some unpleasant company, Kai! unpleasant company who is kicking that door open and moving inside, being quite cold. he's even got his hood up.]

Can you close that? All the heat will leave if it's left open.

[slams it shut (not because he asked) and makes his way to the pantry.]

[mmmm, Kai and beef stew in the same place, what could be better? had been incredibly against leaving their room, but his stomach started complaining, so here he is, banging his way into the kitchen in full winter garb, stomping snow off his boots and looking surly.]

[looks back at him, ducking his head and turning back to the stove to hide his grin.]

[stomp stomp. shoves the door shut and starts unwinding the scarf from around his neck.]

This is way worse than the snowstorm in the Room. I didn't have to change my whole wardrobe for that one.

[Look who is attempting to fit through the doorway at the moment, letting out an irritated sound when it doesn't quite work out.]

Guys, really, you're not going to freeze to death if you're not clinging to me for two seconds.

[Obviously five kids and two adults won't be fitting through any doorways all at once, so Roxas will be forcing them away and pushing them through one at a time.]

[Littlexas leads littlenam in and heads over to a cabinet to get some snacks, all the kids just flocking to surround him now instead. Roxas shakes his head, letting out a laugh before turning and giving a short wave.]
