[ A pair of great big double doors have appeared out of nowhere, and a Riku's pushing through. There's a little more hip and a little more chest than your average teenage boy, making it obvious that this one's... well, a girl. ]

[ But she's not new. She's been here before, and it's obvious by the way she looks around, not at all fazed by the doubles or change in layout. This is a problem, however, and she whirls around to stare at the wall. ]

No...

[ Denial isn't going to get her out of this place. But hammering her fist into the wall might! ]

[there's a surprised squeak from down near Riku's feet. from that brown, tailless mouse.]

[Sorry, little mouse. She's busy pounding her hands against the wall, trying to get the doors to come back.]

[could she hear that over the pounding?]

[She could between them, and stops suddenly, looking around.]

[stands on his hind legs to try and get some height orz.]

[That's not helping much, buddy. Riku stills and looks down, eying the mouse suspiciously. That voice couldn't have come from that, right?]

[waves his little paws up at her.]

I don't think hurting your hands is gonna help you get back.

[just... stares down at him, slowly dropping her hands.]

I don't care. I have to go back.

[lowers back down, since standing upright like that gets uncomfortable.]

But it'd be better to find a way that doesn't include beating up a wall, right?

[glares, pushing away from the wall and looking around.]

And how am I supposed to do that?

I dunno.

[guilty mouse is guilty.]

Exactly. It's the same thing all over again.

[curls her hands into fists, staring at the ground away from him with a look of frustration before she turns back.]

What're you supposed to be, anyway?

I'm a Sora! Normally. Some witches turned me into a mouse a little before Halloween.

[well if she had any doubt where she was, it's gone now.]

[doesn't that sort of thing usually fix itself around here?]

[has she noticed his lack of tail yet? and yes, it'll fix itself. eventually.]

[she has, but she didn't really think much of it.]

[looks at the wall again.]

[stares uuuuuuuuuup at her for a moment, then-]

Did you ever have a snowball fight here?

[looks down, eyes slightly narrowed and curious.]

Well, just 'cause there aren't a whole lot of girl Rikus here, and I haven't seen the one I hung out with sometimes for a while now.

[sounds kind of sad about that. :c]

[blinks, then moves back and crouches down in front of him.]

[that gets his little mousy ears perking right up.]
