[while the dressing room is wreaking havoc upon the residents for Halloween, this little boy is warm and cozy in a fluffy, cute cat outfit, happily stomping around his living room with his stuffed Kitty. Rikka is two years old~ today, and he expects lots of cuddles, attention and cake. particularly pink frosted cakes! come give him love~]

Wow, you sure are! A whole two years old, already?

[yay sugar! he'll settle you on his hip while he looks around the room, his ears perked to listen]

Mmhmm! And Kitty!

*well those super-tuned ears might hear the sound of a baby in the next room and Sora's low voice*

[oh good, he was hoping Rikka hadn't snuck away from you]

Wow, your mama must be really proud!

*he's gonna tug you over the best he can to look at the impressive birthday display on the table, complete with presents and a big pink frosted strawberry cake with blue writing on it*

Is Rikka's cake!

*and he's starting to wonder who Rikka is talking to, and emerges from the bedroom wearing some black leggings and a fitted easy orange dress -- it's obvious that he's much smaller now and closer to his size, but still packing a little baby weight -- and there's a babby now too*

Rikka, who are you talking to?

[catches Rikka up again before he can go stick his fingers in the cake, turning toward you with a wide smile]

*aww man he was this close ;;*

*smiles when he sees you and comes on out with his little bundle, still walking gingerly*

Hi, Riku!

[chuckles, and pulls a long tail with fuzzy white fur around to wave in front of Rikka while he beams at Sora]

Yes, I seem to be a mouse for Halloween. I've even got a tail, see?

*chomps on that tail :3*

Rikka, don't bite that! No!

*and he comes over quickly and bops him on the nose, reprimanding*

How would you like it if I bit your tail, hmm? Or Kitty's? Sorry, Riku. He's a little attention hog today, but I guess he's allowed to be.

*moves to give Riku a warm hug*

[oh so you saw how that smile of his was suddenly strained, huh?]

It's fine, I guess I should know better around a kitty.

[hugs you back, mindful of that little bundle you have there]

Is that who I think it is?

*hugs Riku around the knees in apology*

*smiles a little, and when he touches you, you might feel a little better as a Cure works its magic*

It is. This is Kira.

*tugs back the blanket to reveal the tiny baby wrapped inside; she's definitely got Sora's facial features minus the green eyes you can't see, and Ri's silvery hair - lots of it. She's dressed in a pretty purple footie suit and sleeping deeply after having her meal*

[that definitely feels better, and he ruffles Rikka's hair as he looks, his whole heart nearly melting at the sight of her]

She's beautiful, Sora.

*smiles as he looks on too, cooing when one of her tiny feet kicks in her sleep*

Kira, this is... this is your... Papa Riku. He's special to your Mama. Maybe when you're awake, you can meet him. I think you'll really like him*

[see this? this is Riku, suddenly floored by that introduction. what is it about you that makes this grown man look like he's about to cry so often?]

...thank you, Sora. That... that really means a lot to me.

*he nods softly, just smiling at you -- a very Sora smile*

We're family, after all. Do you... would you like to hold her?

[oh look, a deer in your headlights]

I'd like to but what if I drop her?

You won't. Just hold her carefully, like this.

*and he puts Kira in your arms gently, helping adjust your arms so that her head is supported, and she's still swaddled and cozy*

Now... rock her gently... It helps her sleep.

[does just as you tell him to, holding Kira as if she were made of spun glass, his eyes still wide]

She's so tiny...

*beams when he sees you holding her and pets her soft hair*

... and so cute.

[he's so happy right now, he feels as though his heart might burst]

I remember when you were this little, Rikka.

*looks up at you, a little confused, but might be clinging and nuzzling your knee Riku, he wants attention too*

*grins and bends to give Rikka a raspberry*

Rikka's still our little baby~ even if he's starting to look like a big boy now!

*and he looks at Kira while he pets Rikka, smiling wider when she curls her legs up and squirms to get closer to Riku*
