[having been here for just over two months now, one would think Roxas would start acting a little less... well, stupid. unfortunately, being stuck in the dressing room seems to have affected his connection to Sora, and his ability to... well, comprehend on a higher level. as such, he's been stuck asking plenty of questions, and not quite understanding the answers. luckily, someone he spoke to recently happened to mention picture books!

which would be why he's currently seated in the children's section of the library, reading through some random book. he can read fine; he just didn't know what some of the words meant in the books meant for teens or adults. at least he's learning now.]

I don't really know a lot. Someone told me young people read these kinds of books? I'm only a couple months old.

A couple... but... you look a lot older than that. How can you be only a couple months old?

I'm a Nobody. I was created like this.

[Stops to think.]

So, Nobodies are just created at a certain age?

The age the person they were created from was, I think.

[Sits down nearby.]

I don't know much about Nobodies. They're... created from people?

I don't really know much about it either. It has to do with Heartless taking hearts. Sometimes a Nobody gets left behind, or something like that.

Hmm. Strange.

[Watches him for a little bit.]

What's it like being a Nobody?

I don't really have anything to compare it to. Some Nobodies remember who they were before, but I don't.

Why can't you remember?

I don't know. There's just nothing there.

Kind of sounds like amnesia.

What's amnesia?

It's when someone loses their memory. Sometimes it's from a hit on the head, or something traumatic in the past. But you might forget everything, even your own name.

Oh. I don't think it's anything like that.

[though now he's not so sure.]

[alright fine, he'll go back to his book, though now he's wondering about that amnesia thing.]

[Well that's a bit of a strange sight. She'll just be coming a little closer, a curious look on her face.]

[he doesn't notice her, too busy reading about elephants. :3]

Elephants are supposed to have very good memories, you know.

[blinks and looks up.]

They are?

Mmhmm. But I'm really not sure how someone asked them and found out. [Slight giggle.]
