[A main part of the dressing room looks like it's slowly becoming... gloomier. If one was to follow where it lead, they'd see that it stemmed from a lab, the door open and green smoke coming out. There are two figures standing in the doorway, a tall one scratching his skull, the other holding an...arm.]

I seem to have forgotten what I did last year. Maybe I should have written the formula down.

Will the smoke be dangerous?

Nope, though there might be slight side effects. Maybe we should fan it out. And then I can start working on it again. Only two weeks left, I have to hurry!

... do you want me to get you a needle and string for that, by the way?

[ooc: Stepping through the smoke guarantees you animal/monster parts for a while. (Like cat ears, bat wings. You cannot have a full transformation yet though.)

Very startled Xion is just. going. to stare. ]

[Oh, hey Xion. He's kind of raising a brow at the bunny ears. It's kind of hard to balance on a tail instead of legs, sorry if he's swaying a bit.]

I don't even know.

[ her wings are fluttering in distress, okay. ]

... me neither. I guess that makes you ... half-snake, now? --and do you need any help? [ sees that swaying. ]

[Trying to uh, tug the torn pants off his snake butt. Because he doesn't need them at the moment and it's awkward to have them stuck there. Hope you don't mind, Xion.]

Unless my legs randomly fused together and got blue and scaly, I'm guessing so. I just need to get use to my balance.

[ oh, it doesn't bother her. after all, that's only practical. heck, she'd help if she knew how. ]

I thought mine was weird ... you sure you'll be okay?

[ flutter flutter, worry worry. this xion likes rikus and worries for them, what can she say. ]

[He's got it. It might be kind of weird to have someone he doesn't know taking off his pants.]

Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to learn how to move like this.

[This is going to be interesting. He tries moving a bit, flailing his arms some when he nearly falls forward.]

[ HE LIES. Xion takes a few steps forward, a skeptical I-am-trying-so-hard-not-to-laugh smile on her face ]

"Fine," huh?

[Don't make fun of him. It's a big change not having legs. He's putting his hands on his snake-hips.]

Well, I will be, once I figure out how this works.

[ trying! she just smiles. ]

Come on, let me help you get your balance. You could hold onto my hands while you try to get used to it.

[... This is going to be awkward.]

... Sure.

[ pretty much everything is awkward where poppet is concerned. regardless, she holds up her hands for him to take, high enough so that he won't have to reach down. as she does so, she shakes her head a little -- which makes one of her rabbit ears flop over into her eyes, and she laughs, her wings fluttering. ]

I hope we can get changed back soon, at least.

[He'll grab hold of her hands, glad that he's lost some height from not having legs anymore. Because Xion's pretty short.]

I hope so too. I really don't want to be stuck like this for long.

[ hey, she's not short. everybody else is just abnormally tall. at the very least, she's got pretty strong arms from all that fighting, so helping him keep his balance is pretty easy. ]

Yeah, I can't blame you. That's got to feel really weird. And with these bunny ears, I keep hearing this funny echo.

[ she glances down at his tail, tilting her head a little, then looks up at him again ] So?

[That's good at least. He would feel bad if he fell and crushed her.]

It does feel really weird. Though I'm sure getting another pair of ears and wings is weird too.

[He blinks when she speaks again, carefully starting to try this whole slithering thing. He's still is a bit unsteady, but he's not falling over this time.]

Aside from the echo, it's not so bad. What is weird is the bunny tail I've got, too. It's going to be a little harder to sleep like this.

[ she just moves with him carefully, taking small steps. ] I think you're getting better at this.

You got a tail too?

[He hasn't exactly seen her backside, so he didn't know that. It seems like he's getting the hang of it.] It just takes some getting use to.

[ nod nod. ]

It's small and kinda fluffy. I wouldn't mind it so much if I didn't know that it's going to make it harder to lie down.

[ she smiles a little, then removes her hands from his and steps back, watching him. ] Got it?

Well, you can always lay on your side or stomach, at least?

[Riku sways a little when she lets go, but manages to stay upright.] I think so.

Yeah, true. It's just going to take a while to get used to.

[ she watches him with a careful eye, then smiles. ] Good! Hopefully you'll be okay until we can change back, then.

[ now she tilts her head, really getting a good look at him for the first time. that's when she notices the scar over his eye. she blinks, but doesn't comment on it. ]

I'll manage.

[He's actually use to people asking about it, so he wouldn't care if she did. He raises a brow at her.]
