[There's a certain blond in the kitchen, busy making a very complicated meal at the stove- soup. He's smiling faintly all the while though, so something must be going right today.]

[well once the soup is finished, a bowl of it is being set in front of Roxas.]

[Oh what hi. Blinks a bit and sits up, staring down at it with a spaced-out look.]

[pokes his forehead.]

Eat, then you can nap in your bed.

[Yeah okay. Brb, eating quietly.]

[he's going to get himself a nice big glass of water in the meantime.]

[Hmm. Pauses in eating to go get some crackers, then goes back to the soup.]

[downing that water pretty quick and checking on his wrist. there's a faint cut there l-lol.]

[Emoku, what are you doing here--]

What happened?

[/gets streaks in his tail?]

The kid gets over the chickenpox and catches the vampire. I didn't feel like putting up with his teeth in my wrist.

[The kid isn't the only one uncomfortable with the idea of Chichi doing that to himself with a knife- even if it's for a good reason. Just looks away a little.]

...Be careful.

[wanders over to him and wraps his arms around him from behind.]

I will be, don't worry.

[Leans into him a little, sighing and closing his eyes.]

You okay?

[you have him worried with the tiredness.]

[It's just that time of year.]

I think my voice brought the flu back with it.

[snorts quietly.]

That bites.

[Gives a slight dry smile.]

So does the kid, apparently.

That was a bad joke.

[sounds vaguely scolding, but mostly amused.]

You thought it was funny.

[And so did he, for a moment.]

That's a lie.

[except it's the truth.]

Liar.

Possibly.

No one told you lying is bad?

Guess I must've forgotten.
