Hey! I was supposed to RTC, not go ... someplace else! Where is this? What am I doing here?

[ small, worried little frown. ]

Axel and Roxas are going to worry about me again ... just when I had them convinced I was fine.

What am I supposed to do now?

(ooc; new! ish. I'm actually srsly old school with this DR, but I've been out for aaaaaages. anyway, Xion abducted mid-canon - day 197, to be precise - when she's all not broken and shit. do try not to screw her mind completely. tags may be slow-ish.)

Hey, I'm sure it's no big deal. Roxas and Sora look a lot alike, so maybe there's just some sort of connection.

[ wow, look at her expression go all funny. and not a good kind of funny, either. her eyes go kind of glassy. ]

... Sora?

[...That really isn't good. D:]

... Yeah. He's my best friend and Roxas's other.

[ that's a little too much for Xion. she registers the words -- "other," "best friend," "roxas," but the name keeps resonating in her head. she winces suddenly, clutching her head in both hands. and then, just as suddenly, she simply collapses. ]

[--Ack! He wasn't expecting that and will promptly try to catch her, mostly as a gut instinct. D:]

[ your party cannot be reached, please call back later-- ]

[Well, that kinda sucks, um. He'll just have to carry her to some empty room or something. B|

[ it's not her fault you broke her brain, okay. )8 she may or may not murmur Sora's name in her sleep. ]

[Right, well. He'll go ahead and put her down on a bed and just... watch for now. << There's no way he'll bail when this is probably his fault.]

[ IT MIGHT BE A WHILE. You might want to go get a sandwich or something, seriously. She's snoozin'. She'll wake up in half an hour or so, once these dreams with that strange boy in red stop playing. ]

[It's not like he has anything better to do. 8| He'll just chill, yo. Probably wondering what the heck happened, too.]

[ when she finally comes around, she does so slowly, making a soft noise before opening her eyes and staring around ]

What...?

So you're awake. I was beginning to wonder...

[He'll push away from the wall now.]

What was that about, anyway?

I don't know... I keep having these strange dreams about a boy in red.

Boy in red, huh? Sounds like Sora to me.

[ ... ! ]

He's -- he's real? He's here? I--

[ she stops, wincing. her head hurts again. she goes quiet for a long moment. ]

... I need time to think about this. Please don't tell me anything else.

[...well, considering how she reacted just at Sora's name...]

If you say so. Last thing we need is for you to faint again.

[ she nods a little, sitting up and swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. but she doesn't get up -- instead, she simply sits there for a moment, staring at her gloved hands. it takes her a moment and a small frown, but finally she looks up at Riku again. ]

Why are you being so nice to me?

Is there any reason why I shouldn't be? You don't seem that bad, and besides, I wouldn't just leave you out in the hall. Chances are someone might trip on you if that happened.

[ "This Keyblade is a sham -- worthless."

Xion just watches him, uncertain of what to think. ]

... if it really was a future version of you that I saw, then ... you said some pretty awful things to me, and I don't know why. We're ... supposed to be enemies.

Yeah? Well, you know, it's not just you. Apparently I wind up turning against Sora, which is something I never thought I'd do.

[Buuut he shakes his head.]

But none of that's happened to me. Whatever I'm like then just doesn't matter right now.

... really? But you said he's your best friend...

[ she frowns a little in thought. ]

I guess ... you're right. [ SIGHS and places a hand on the side of her face. ] I'm sorry. I shouldn't blame you for something you haven't even done. It's just really strange. Thank you for helping me, though.

He is, but I guess that's what I get for dealing with the darkness, even if it hasn't happened yet.

[Not to mention it's really his jealousy that apparently pushes him over the edge; he's still a bit jealous even now.]
