[Miiiiight want to be careful, wandering on down this hallway. There's that bear trap, there... not to mention something that looks like it'd trigger that bag of bombs hanging from the ceiling to drop. Don't ask how whoever set all this up added in the pit of snakes and giant spiders, you don't really want to know. But hey, there's a nice, big, tempting bowl of Halloween treats at the other end of it all, and a kid who'll prove rather familiar to at least a couple people kicking around a... well, that's not a ball. It's a head. Oops.

In any case, the poor kid looks to be trapped in that dead end, there. Won't you help him out?]

[Pffft, whatever. Also, there's a hand that looks like it's covered in rotting fish scales suddenly gripping the edge of the fountain.]

[...okay that's gross but it's not so bad.]

[Another joins it shortly after, disgusting green slime bubbling over the edge of the fountain as what looks like a slightly evolved, decomposing shark pulls itself out, ropes of drool slipping from its large jaws as its milky white eyes search the area.]

[That's unexpected, and it makes her breath hitch. She's only surprised, of course, which is why her eyes are wide and her arms are frozen in place.]

[It doesn't make any noise, since it's a shark, though it's jaw creaks as it pinpoints their position, taking a step toward them. Red is looking quite fascinated!]

[Riku's hat drops behind her as she takes a step back, completely focused on the shark that should not be there. Sharks are supposed to stay in the water.]

[Well, this shark is not in the water! And it keeps heading toward them slowly. Or rather, toward Riku, as currently she seems like the easier target~.]

[Okay yeah she's stumbling back now, almost tripping over the hat.]

[Aaaand suddenly the shark is lurching toward her!]

[She's making a break for it! Or trying to, anyway.]

[Pfft, scaredy cat. He's stepping between them, digging something out of his pocket.]

[Unlike some people, she has no death wish. Wait, what is he doing?]

[Pulls out a little red marble and aims for the shark's mouth as it continues toward them. It takes a few seconds once it disappears past those gigantic teeth, but shortly after- boom!]

[She's stumbling to a stop at that 'boom', looking back at him like he's insane -- not that this is anything new.]

[Might want to cover yourself. He's got his hood up and pulled down over his face to keep himself from getting splattered with rotted shark flesh, since that shark's head just exploded and all.]

[She ran a good bit away, but yes, she covered her head with her arms. She's still staring, though.]

[Turns once the shark falls, very much not moving since it's minus a head. He's got quite a bit of goop on him, and it's weighing his hood down so all that's visible is the great big grin on his face.]

[Gross. But her wide-eyed expression is changing to a very angry one.]

What're you grinning about?

You were scared.

[Griiiiiiin.]

[Makes a frustrated noise and starts walking toward him.]

I wasn't scared! I just didn't wanna die!

You were scared! I saw it!

I was not!

You were too!

I was not, and if you say it again I'm gonna hit you.

Go ahead.

[He's covered in rotting, dead shark, after all. He'll just throw some at her.]
