[Austin is in the kitchen right now, stirring up something on the stove, adding in a few different ingredients that would normally go in chicken noodle soup. He's gathering things for what looks like a meal in bed, complete with saltines, ginger ale, and cold medicine. It looks like someone is sick, though he looks to be in perfect health.]

You shouldn't be fussing over me like this anyway.

[Pours the homemade soup into a bowl on the tray and picks it up.]

Come on, you need rest.

You and your mother [CHOO] henning.

[Sticks close to him.]

I mother hen with good reason.

[Leads her back to their room and ushers her into bed.]

Fiiiiine.

[Goes back to that bed. She's getting sick of it.]

[Sets the tray over her lap when she does, and walks around to the other side, scooting close to keep her warm.]

Human heater.

[sneezes into a handkerchief, but leans close to his warmth.]

[Slips his arm around her, pulling that blanket around her more.]

Yeah, yeah. You just eat so you can nap.

[Rests against him slightly, spooning up a bit and sipping.]

Mm, this is pretty good.

[Smiles.]

I didn't experiment this time.

Good. We all know what happens when you do.

[Sniffs, but keeps on eating Why are you so waaaaarm.]

Yeah, I end up mixing sauerkraut and peanut butter again.

[Shudders.]

[Keeps the spoon in her mouth as she rearranges the blanket a bit, then takes it out when she's done, before turning her towards him.]

[Smiles softly back at her, giving her a one armed hug.]

You're welcome. You know I'm always here when you need me.

Dork.

[But she says it almost teasingly, leaning more comfortably against him.]

[Laughs slightly at that, ruffling her hair a bit.]

Hey-- choo!

[She has bed hair already, stop that, you dork.]

[Laughs, just smoothing it out when he finishes.]

[Leans into his hand because it's warm, working on finishing her soup.]

[lol you're like a cat 8D keeps petting her hair.]

[stfu she's just sick and wants warmth >>]

[And as soon as she's done eating, he'll set the tray on the floor and open his arms up for her.]

[Snuggles up, getting comfortable.]

[Keeps his arms wrapped around her, heating up a bit to keep her warm.]

Mhm hey. Don't you mind?

[You know. That they're practically cuddled up together like this.]
