The Silence Isn't So Bad

[Don't mind this music coming from a cracked door. Demyx is poking out a tune on his guitar, scribbling down some things on various pieces of paper surrounding him on the floor. The couch behind him has his laptop and guitar case on it, and every now and then he'll type a few things into a slowly-growing document. Luckily, he managed to get out of the whole handcuffs thing. He's using the fact that there's more commotion than usual to his advantage, since it was the busy streets of New York City that used to inspire him every day.]

Well, back in New York I played at cafes, clubs, and bars whenever I could get the chance. So, I've heard it a lot. Then again, I dunno how much I can say is true, a lot of the comments were from drunk guys and girls who were... well. Eheh. [He rubs the back of his neck a little.]

[His fingers play along the strings calmly at first, and then he starts with the actual song. It's up-beat, but not really bright. The tune is pleasant, and when he starts singing, the words are a simple, yet original love song.]

[She's listening with rapt attention, and once she gets used to the main melody, she might be humming a bit along.]

[It's simple enough that it wouldn't be hard to do that. When he reaches the instrumental solo in the bridge, Demyx looks up at her and smiles, seeming to know exactly where his fingers need to go without having to watch.]

[His cheeks turn slightly pink, because he really thinks that's cute~. Time to look back down, and somehow his voice seems to come in a little clearer now.]

[The song doesn't last much longer, and ends as the tempo slows to the last few strings being plucked. Then, the silence sets in the moment afterward.]
