[Sora had only intended to get into his closet to locate his blocks, but when he pulls it open he doesn't find his clothes or toys -- there's a whole other room beyond the door.]

[it isn't as simple or as exciting as just finding a new room for him to play in, either. his old bedroom on the islands is clean and the bed is made, although dusty, like someone hasn't been living in it for quite a while. he can hear and smell the ocean wafting from a little window in the corner; he can see the sky and sunlight streaming in and warming the plush rug on the floor -- it's one of his favorite places to play, and consequently, nap.]

[Sora stands just outside the doorway, agonizing silently over whether he wants to go through.]

What? Your real room? It... showed up here?

Uhm. Sora found his room back at home in the closet this morning. And uh, I think he. Wants to go home. But he wants us to come with him.

*the look on his face should tell Ri how delicate a situation this is, and how he's feeling*

*he's quiet for a long while, utterly gobsmacked by this situation, and just... picks 'bug up, holding him close against his chest*

Well... I don't know if you've thought about it, but... 'bug, you know that you and Sora are sort of the same person, right? Like how I'm sort of the same person as your friend Riku?

Yeah. We're... different, but we're still sort of the same. There can only be one Sora for each world. Not two.

You'd still be a Sora, deep down inside. This is the only place where more than one person can be. But me and Sora... we're very happy that you let us be your parents here.

We'll try, of course. But you know this place sometimes doesn't let people go home. How about we go look at where your room is, and I'll see if I can go in it? Do you have lots of toys?

I think it would be better if they were here. Since... well, you know that we probably won't be able to live with you there. Besides, your Momma and Daddy might not like us. We're very young to be daddies.

[he makes it back to the doorway first, hopping up and down excitedly like a kid on his very first field trip.]

We're gonna be the best family ever! Not even Riku's got three daddies!

... you know we can't... we can't force him to stay. This might be his only chance to get out.

*then he pastes on a smile for 'bug*

O-of course we will. Poco would be so sad to not have his friend around.

I know, I know! I want him to... I want him to be with his family.

We'll make sure he stays out of trouble. And doesn't eat any cheetos.
