[He's had a weird past couple of days. Most of it just a cruel reminder of how much this place hates him, some awkward moments, and... Dare he admit it, something good, too. Granted, he's not sure what to make of Riku's helping him yet but it couldn't be a bad thing, right? Besides, he didn't want to read too much into it. So the guy cared if he died or not, big deal.

Well, it sort of is. Not many left here did, and it seemed lately more wanted him dead than not, so having someone who just spent the past fifteen years trying to kill him admit that he cared? Kind of a big deal. But again, not reading too much into it, right?

Right. Which is why he's wandering the garden instead of looking for Riku. Plus, he figures not too many spend time here and Axel feels like interacting with other people would not be very conducive to his health right now; you can't tell, but he's sporting a whole new array of scars under his coat and they pretty much make him hate his life.]

[Well, he is a little different from most Axels. He can't help but notice the glances, and, after a moment he sighs and, rubbing the back of his neck, greets her.]

[But he wants clarification. And if Riku isn't going to help, where is he going to get it? Ugh. When Axel notices Riku sitting on that bench, he frowns faintly, going over to him after a brief moment of indecision.]
