[boom. crash. BANG!

and other such noises can be heard from Roxas' room. if anyone would care enough to peek in through the open door to check what's going on in there they'd find him curled up naked on the floor. it looks like a hurricane has gone through the room, breaking everything breakable and throwing everything else around.

if anyone would care enough to look even closer, they'd see that his right knee looks broken, there's blood on his hands, and he's been crying.]

[Roxas takes it, nodding in thanks.]

[Tries to think of some kind of topic that will be fine to talk about.]

Did you finish that book I gave you?

...yeah. I don't get all of it, but I'm getting better.

[could they... not be in this room, please? Roxas glances anxiously at the door, obviously wanting to leave.]

[Makes for the door then.]

That's good.

[follows.]

Yeah... guess it is.

[He's going for the kitchen next, figuring some tea might be calming.]

You hungry?

[he considers this for a while, before nodding.]

Yeah. I am.

[Oh good. When he gets to the kitchen, he puts some water on to boil, and starts pulling out herbs to use for tea.]

...can you make that tea that helps you sleep?

[he starts rummaging through the fridge, just to have something to do.]

Sure.

[Mixes together a few things, then pours the water in when it gets hot enough.]

Thanks.

[he's not really finding anything he feels like eating, though he knows he should eat.]

[Now now, don't take after Riku's bad habits. He's skinny enough for the both of them.]

Here.

[Hands him a mug of tea.]

[oh, he won't. he'll just force himself to eat something light... this apple will do. he accepts the cup of tea, nodding. he sits down at the table.]

Thanks.

[Nods, joining him at the table.]

[he starts eating the apple, leaving the tea to cool down a little.]

[Lets his eyes and mind wander, ignoring the slight sound his stomach makes.]

[Roxas notices, though, and stops chewing.

without a word he holds out the apple for Riku to take.]

[Notices this, and shakes his head wordlessly.]

[...fine. he takes it back and keeps eating.]

[Watches him for a little bit, but eventually he starts getting lost in thought again.]

[and Roxas finishes the apple, putting down the core on the table. he starts to sip his tea, thinking...]

[Goes back to watching him. And wishing his stomach would stop whining about not being fed.]

Eat already.

[sighs Roxas, gaze fixed on the table.]

I'm fine.

[Stubborn, too.]

[and Roxas really doesn't have the energy to fight about it, so he just nods, giving up.]
