[There's a portal opening in one of the hallways, a seemingly normal Roxas stepping out-- except that he's in normal, casual clothes and is carrying with him an electronic device and has a kitten in the hood of the jacket he's wearing.]

[When the portal closes, he stops, looking around with wide, shocked eyes.]

[This is not the hotel lobby.]

[What is nothing short of a scream rips out from his throat at that pain.]

Hey, Riku? You still alive?

["Riku" is over there, slumped on the ground, circled by flames.]

[Panting hard, vision blurred. But he's looking toward the illusion. please respond, please respond...]

...nope, sorry, dead. I think.

N-no... No, Riku-- [His breath catches as another wave of pain takes over, and his mouth opens wider-- no sound can come out.]

Oh well, it was his time.

[Stabs a knife almost near to your chest :3]

[Yelps, his entire body tensing as he attempts to thrash, but doesn't have the strength to get away.]

[Slices it along his skin, as if drawing something.]

[His breaths are coming in heaves, leaving in shouts of pain.]

[Heart. There we go. Smirks. Then snaps his fingers.

Oops, did Riku just go up in flames?]

[He's breathing so hard, his eyes are overflowing... And even through that, he can see those flames. And... he can't do anything. He can't stop it, he can't help. All he can do is breathe in deeper than he ever remembers having done before...]

[... and scream.]

[Slashes an X across the heart scar. :>]

[The scream is broken as his voice cracks in the pain, but he's still fighting to keep his voice going. It's starting to break into a sort of sob, a poor attempt at covering it with anger making it sound more pathetic.]

So pathetic.

[STEPS ON THAT WOUND.]

[He doesn't have the voice remaining to scream.]

[/o/ pleasure doing business. poofs away.]
