[In case anyone in the kitchen is hungry, there happens to be a nice pile of skinned apples sitting in a bowl. And there's a Kairi sitting nearby on the counter, legs swinging as she skins another apple. She hasn't actually eaten any though, strangely enough.]

[oh, apples. looks at her curiously, picking one up.]

Making a pie?

Nope.

[Sticks another skinned apple in the bowl, and picks up a new apple.]

So... you're just skinning them?

Mhmm.

[Pauses to look at him.]

...Is there something wrong with that?

Nope. I just...

[small shrug!]

Thought you were usin' them. So is it okay if I eat one?

Go for it.

[Keeps slowly peeling at the apple, seeing if she can get all the skin off in one continuous peel.]

[mmm apples. takes one, eating one carefully and strolling away, over to the sink.]

[Pays no attention to him, focused on her apple. She winces a little though when the blade slips and goes into her finger though.]

[right on cue--]

I hope you don't cut yourself. I've done that wayyy too often when I peel potatoes.

[Sucks on the finger that's bleeding, tossing the half-peeled apple in the trash.]

Nice delayed warning.

[--looks over his shoulder with a start, before digging in his pocket and producing a wrapped bandage.]

[Hmph. Glances the other way, refusing to admit she might need it.]

[ojeez, we're stubborn. ... puts it back in his pocket.]

Well, saliva does have healing properties. Or something.

[Gives him an odd look.]

What are you talking about?

I heard that it actually helps heal cuts and stuff.

...Well, whatever. Still hurts.

Well, yeah! 'course it still hurts.
