[Beware a certain common room and the hallways leading to it today, because those normal blank dressing room walls have been replaced with something a little more grotesque. It's much dimmer than usual, and there are nurses clustered around the room, armed with scalpels and other weapons. And of course, poor Kairi is in the middle of it doing a pretty good job of defending herself with just a handgun and a knife.]

[oooooh, pretty decor~ And pretty nurses, too. Let's just walk on through here because we hear interesting noises--]

[Hey. you. Bitch. Get off me you fucker.]

[Kairi might notice that, down the hallway, a nice big pair of fiery wings have just spring up, and a wave of heat just burst out, though it's not too bad. However, a few nurses just got incinerated.]

... if this happens often, I'm never letting Sora out of my sight.

[Oh hi fire. At least that means there someone else here to help.]

Not as often as you'd think.

[Oop, brb, knifing a nurse in the gut now.]

[oh hey, it's a chick. being attacked. hm. Might as well lend a hand, right?]

I'm guessing this isn't the worst this place has to offer, either.

[his wings flap forward, each nurse hit by them getting burned to a crisp.]

Doubt it.

[Bang bang, gunfire while she takes out a nurse or two from afar.]

[You know, this is getting annoying. Child's play with these things, they barely have minds of their own. Sooooo, let's take out a nice big wave of them with some whips of fire lashing about. But don't worry, he has full control over this. It's actually pretty fun for him~]

[Yeah yeah, have your fun showing off with your big impressive fire moves mister. She's going to keep up that nice effective knife-and-shoot tactic.]

[Hey, showing off isn't quite my style. Not my fault fire's a little flashy. Or that I haven't gotten to stretch my wings like this for a few hundred years. It won't be long before there's a definite clear way for Kairi to run if she wants to.]

[Yeah, sure. When he's done playing hero and she's taken out the last few nurses, The room starts fading slowly back to normal. The blood and corpses remain though.]

... The hell was that about?

[nice burst of flames, and he's back to normal.]

It happens every now and then. I suppose I just brought part of home with me.

[Looks completely calm despite being covered in blood. brb, cleaning off knife.]

[He's met many people who have been that way. It takes some hardening, he knows, and if that was like home to her, he... doesn't wanna know what else she had to deal with.]

Guess this place just wants you to feel comfortable.

Apparently.

[Stares down at her vest with an annoyed look.]

They hurt you any?

Nope.

[She's careful like that.]

Good.

[He pockets his hands, and that's... well, that. He turns, prepared to leave.]

[That looks dangerous. So obviously he has to jump in! Guess what, nurse on the left of Kairi, you're getting a fireball to the side.]

[She appreciates the help, even though it doesn't seem it. She's a little preoccupied with nailing a nurse between the eyes with a couple bullets-- if they had eyes anyway.]

[One moves to stab him in the shoulder and he spins, trapping it's arm and kneeing it in the gut before throwing more fire to knock it, and quite a few around it, back.]

[Keeps kicking nurse ass, reloading the handgun every now and then. Looks like their numbers are thinning...]

[Takes a stance and suddenly thrusts both arms out straight, shooting a thick wave of fire at any nurses in front of him. Talk about thinning.]

[Well, that got it down to the last few. Who are promptly being shot to pieces.]

[Shoots some extra fire at some nurses still twitching on the ground, then--

Plops down on the ground, looking tired.]

... I think I overdid it.

Just maybe, Matchstick.

[Sighs and tucks her gun away, wiping the switchblade off on her jeans.]

[Takes a breather on the floor for a moment, then stands up.]

It's Austin, actually. Though I pretty much go by anything relevant to fire.

...Matchstick it is.

[Takes her time examining the knife, playing with it a little.]

[Shrugs and pockets his hands.]

Where'd you learn how to shoot like that? You're a good shot.

Experience. S'good to know how to aim a gun when things like those are after you all the time.

... 'all the time'? Ugh, that'd suck.

[Sympathetic look!]

You get used to it. Nurses are one of the better ones to run into.

Do I even want to know what's worse?

Probably not. Not sure I could describe it accurately anyway.

Huh.

[Looks back down at all the nurses.]

and here I thought the heartless were bad...

...Those black things with the yellow eyes?

[Says that with a 'you're kidding' tone.]

Yeah. They're not so bad here, but I'm from the future dressing room. They're a hundred times worse there.

[Kairi is used to psychotic nurses, although the psychotic nurses she's encountered have all lost the ability to use weapons, and just run wildly into battle -- that won't stop her, however, from pointing her shotgun at one of the nurses and opening fire.]

[Whoa, hey, loud noises. Oh well, back to knifing a nurse in the throat.]

You alright?

[unloads another clip at a different nurse.]

Fine.

[Spattered and sprayed with blood, but fine for the most part. Looks like the numbers of nurses are dwindling.]

[pops a bullet into one of those remaining, taking the slower pace as an opportunity to reload.]

Yeesh, it's like walking into a room full of Witches.

[Reloads as well.]

There aren't usually this many.

It could always be worse.

Yeah, well.

[This is bad enough, thanks.]

[shifts awkwardly. she's not really the greatest with doubles of herself.]

So, uh .. You fight psycho nurses often?

[This one's not the greatest with anyone.]

All the time.

Me too! Well, I mean .. Not those kinds of psycho nurses exactly, but.

[Glances curiously at her.]

...Really?

[nods! psycho nurses is sort of an odd thing to relate to, but it's a start.]

Rabid zombies.

[Tilts her head, looking thoughtful.]

Huh.

Yeah. They're a lot faster than the zombies in the movies, but they're just as dumb.
