[well, the last barrel Sora encountered had candy in it, so he's wandering up to poke at this new barrel curiously! he's kind of hoping this one has taffy .]

[The barrel shakes a bit, then long legs spring out of it. A glowing yellow eye stares at you, then it starts crawling toward you in a very determined manner. Now would probably be a good time to run.]

[... that is definitely not taffy. Sora just gapes for a minute, frozen in place, before it occurs to him to take off running. giant spider!!]

[Giant spider indeed, and it wants to take your Heart!]

[he'll just run as fast as his little legs can carry him, then try to squash into a cabinet in a nearby bathroom. hopefully he won't be found.]

[you're barely fast enough to keep ahead of the spider, but it sees where you went and it is now trying to pry open that door]

No! Go away!!

[like yelling at it will actually work, Sora -- he just struggles to keep it closed.]

[This is going to be a long day then, because now it is waiting outside for you to come out.]

[maybe someone will notice when he doesn't show up for dinner -- Sora just curls up inside the cabinet, whimpering.]

[Be glad you hadn't decided to hit it again, as it would have exploded in your face.]

*hey look who is interrupting*

... 'bug? Are you here?

Help!

[that was coming from inside that cabinet, there.]

*hurries towards your voice, then freezes when he sees that barrel*

'bug?! 'bug, stay right where you are!

I want out!!

[he's kind of in a panic, and the instant he hears Ri's voice he starts to open the cabinet.]

[the barrel springs to life again as soon as the door moves, long spidery legs rushing it forward to try getting to you again]

*he growls and in a flash, that's Soul Eater smashing into you, barrel!*

'BUG STAY IN THERE!

[immediately scoots back into the cabinet, although he's having a little trouble getting the door to snap shut properly.]

[The barrel explodes at the hit from Soul Eater, leaving debris and chunks of wood behind.]

*yelps as he gets hit by barrel pieces, but not too badly*

... 'bug! 'bug come here right now hurry!

[well, he managed to avoid getting hit by barrel debris, but the force of the bast knocked him back against the sink pipe -- Sora is out cold, sorry. :|]

*he'll just have to get you himself, worried when he doesn't hear any noises coming from you*

'bug!

[Ri will find him quite konked out, sprawled out sort of awkwardly in the cabinet. he'll probably never try to hide in a bathroom again after this.]

*he is quite worried and pulls you out carefully, casting cure over you*

... 'bug?

[give him a minute or two of lying there limply in Ri's arms before he stirs, scrunching up his face like he's in pain.]

*he'll cradle you in his arms, moving carefully down the hallway and back to the room*

'bug stay still...
