[Notices the Shadow, and summons weapons! Sees the scene as if the Shadow is trying to take this kid's heart.]

[eeeeek that's a lot of fire on those things you have there]

[ducks behind the Shadow, who takes one look at you and ducks behind Riku, peering over his shoulder]

[Looks at the Shadow, then at you. ...]

Wait a minute. He's [points at the Shadow.] not attacking you?

[stares at you cuz you're big and intimidating]

It's my shadow! Are you a monster? If you're a monster I'm 'sposed ta run away.

... No, I'm not a monster. I thought that thing you've befriended was.

[l-lol funny. he kinda is a monster. vampire.. thing.]

[god why is he doing this again. Very well, he darts after the kid and Shadow.]

[comes running back and right past you with a squeal as he dodges around. the Shadow cheats and sinks into the floor to get around you, popping up and taking off after the kid]

[skids to a stop for a moment. thennn smirks.]

[insert burst of vampric speed here.]

[looks to see how far behind him you are and stops, looking around curiously because weren't you right behind him?]

[was. Now he's coming from the opposite direction, the way you were running, with mind blowing speed. RUN RIKU RUN.]

[turns back around and spots you, eyes going wide with a loud squeal, practically running in place a moment before taking off back down the hall with all the speed a four year old can muster, the Shadow zipping along beside and ahead of him]

[Do you mind if he runs up and picks little Riku up? Or would you rather not traumatize this child. Either way, he's dashing and catching up.]

Hurry Shadow he's gonna get us!

[go for it. he's practically an orphan here and has already been threatened with being eaten, he's young enough that he's starting to get used to minor trauma in this place.]

[Well then he runs past and swoops kid!ku up. Orphan you say? Well Axel'll give him some fun if he'd like. Oh, when he does pick Riku up, he's still running. Yay, Riku can see how fast vampires run!]
