[Today is the day of the ball, and as such the entry to the Grand Ball Room is wide open, a sound of music echoing through the halls. Not too far away are signs pointing to the general area, intended to help those who are new as well as remind those who are interested.

The room itself seems incredibly clean, thanks to a few enchanted brooms, some of which are still there to clean up any messes from the food. Speaking of food, there is a large table with many delicious meals to choose from, from classy foods to simpler snacks such as chips and even a bit of treats for the children and others who enjoy sweets. And of course, beverages are present, such as punch, water, soft drinks, and even a bit of wine for the adults. Off to the side is an ice box, which may in fact contain sea salt ice cream.

Similar to the last ball, there is a comfortable area set off to the side for those who would rather relax, maybe take a break from dancing. It consists of comfortable chairs and couches for the guests, and even smaller tables for beverages.

Of course, the main attraction is the dance floor itself, which is dimly lit by a chandelier and the occasional candles here and there. The aforementioned music at the moment is classical, a sort of waltz and seems to be coming from no apparent source-- but one may notice somewhere in the ball room that Mickey himself is present, dressed not only in proper masquerade attire, but also with a familiar hat.

Anyone is welcome to enjoy the ball. However, if trouble should arise Mickey does have a Keyblade and would be more than willing to intervene; this is meant for enjoyment, not violence.]

[W-Well, since this place decided to choose her dress (http://www.gemele.com/sailormoon/mprincess/anime_mprincess08.jpg) and mask (http://www.maskitalia.com/assets/images/masks/fulls/cignetta-silver-white-l3.jpg) for her, she figured she might as well get going to the ball. So now she's stepping into the ball room nervously, fingers twisting in the fabric of her dress.]

[Spots her eventually, though he can't be sure it's the one he knows. Here's hoping she'll wander over this way.]

[She starts toward that area almost immediately, obviously nervous.]

[When she's close enough, he decides to speak up. Oh hey, and there's that familiar smell of his.]

Namine?

[Brightens! At least it's easy for her to pick him out.]

H-Hi, Riku.

...Hey. You look. You look nice.

[Smooth, Riku.]

Th-thanks, you do too.

[Real smooth. She's looking happier than she ever has in the dressing room, at least.]

[Notices. But ghh, flustered. Stands a bit hastily, putting his top hat back on.]

Did you want to, uh. Get something to eat?

Sure.

[Still quite nervous over here, so at least they can be awkward and stuff together.]

[Nods and head for the food.]

[U-Um, follows after him, trying not to trip on her dress.]

[Kind of too nervous to eat, but he won't admit that. There's a whole table though, so he'll just wait for her to go ahead.]

[Well, alright. She doesn't actually eat that much; doesn't really need to, but she'll start quietly getting food, glancing at Riku with a faint blush every so often.]

[He'll busy himself with getting a couple glasses of punch, returning to hand her one.]

Thank you.

[Smiles at him, taking the glass with her free hand.]

Sure.

[Sips quietly from his own glass, stealing glances at her every now and then.]

[Looks like she's paying more attention to her punch now, staring down at it with a small but happy smile.]

[But she can't actually be feeling happy, right? He just keeps quiet, trying to think of a way to make conversation without being awkward.]

[....No. No, she can't actually be happy. But she can pretend.]

[And he wishes she didn't have to pretend.]

So, uh, how have you been lately? I haven't seen you around in a while.

I've been... good. I've been collecting things to decorate my room, a-and practicing with the portals.

Mm. Getting better with them?

I think so!

That's good. You can show me later, okay?

[She's so smile-y today~.]
