[Today there is a ~~red mummy~~man dressed all in red wandering through the halls of the dressing room with a general look of confusion on his face. Must be a newcomer.

How do you expect to learn when you refuse to attack the issue directly? Is science not without its risks?

Oh, the loss of my heart was fully intentional. It was, after all, the ideal way to command the heartless, and as for the Garden... at times sacrifices must be made.

I would never have thrown my people into the darkness!

How selfless of you... Yet look at what denying such power, such knowledge has done to you. Banished to the realm of nothingness without even your own identity.

Perhaps, but the fall of the garden was inevitable. Even if I hadn't acted in such a way it would have eventually fallen to darkness.

Inevitable? Hardly.

The darkness is a beginning and an end... it is the true essence of all world... of all hearts.

Listen to yourself, Xehanort! There is light in every heart!

Though that may be true, the light is feeble, weak, and destined to be snuffed out in the end.

Though you believe them to be foolish, I believe that my current existence is proof enough of the power that lies within darkness. Others who have fallen became mindless beasts, yet not only have I retained my self awareness, but I can command them. The heartless bend to my will.

There is more to the worlds than merely the Heartless. Beings you could never control.

In their current state, perhaps not, but every heart is capable of falling to the darkness, save for those seven maidens of pure hearts.

Capable of is hardly the same as 'will'.

All it requires is adequate persuasion, which is certainly not impossible.

You won't find everyone as easy to sway as this young man.
