It's doubtful that you would have been capable. After all, this was a choice I had willingly made. Your interference would have done little.

Oh, the loss of my heart was fully intentional. It was, after all, the ideal way to command the heartless, and as for the Garden... at times sacrifices must be made.

Perhaps, but the fall of the garden was inevitable. Even if I hadn't acted in such a way it would have eventually fallen to darkness.

Though that may be true, the light is feeble, weak, and destined to be snuffed out in the end.
