[Today, Isa's in one of the 'outside' rooms of the place - one where it's night, despite what time it might otherwise be in the dressing room. A full moon is hanging overhead.

And sitting on a rock with a sword nearby, is Isa. He's being remarkably quiet even, and is barely moving. What exactly he thinks he's doing there... well, you'd have to ask him, but it certainly looks like he might well intend to stay there all night.]

I ... hope not. I really do. [Eheh...]

I saw myself older once, so...

You did? [Huh.] Well... I guess it's not surprising, around here. I've heard about older versions of me a lot.

[There's a blink and Isa shakes his head.]

Not here. There.

[He points at the moon again.]

...Oh. That's a bit different.

Maybe a bit.

[He gives a slight embarrassed laugh at his mistake.]

[shrugs]

It'll work.

[He nods.] If you think it will...

I know it will.

Well. It's ... good that you do, then. Nice to be able to be sure of these things...

It has to. I'll make it work.

[A pause - and he grins. He knows that feeling.] Yeah.

[That gets a smile, which looks rather odd, under those still-glowing eyes.]

[It does, at that. But... he can live with it.]

[At least they won't last past the night?]

[At least that. And looking a bit weird beats a lot of craziness around here.]

[Very true, very true.]

[He gives a smile, and heads over, to continue work on the telescope - wondering, as he does so...]

I'm ... trying to get a closer look at it. Do you want to see?

[There's another blink and then a nod.]

[He smiles. Share the knowledge - and besides, he can tell Isa knows things about it he doesn't. Can't.]

Not in the least. Just a moment, while I get this in focus.

[Isa nods at that. He can wait.]

[Hm, hmm... okay, sorted. He peers, steps back, nods to Isa.]

It's done. Here. Just take a look through there. [Pointing at the scope's eyepiece.]

[Well... okay then. It's an odd whatsit, but hey, he'll try it.]
