[ Kairi's mostly been keeping to herself since Ienzo's death, but she's feeling much better these days. If a little mischievous. Today she's climbed onto the stomach of a Roxas asleep in one of the busier rooms, and is very carefully applying make-up to the sleeping face.

She's been wanting to practice, and this seems like the best way. Roxas isn't the first, either - anyone caught asleep over the past day has been subjected to her 'practice'. Lucky for her, she fled before most of them woke up. ]

[unfortunately they haven't. the fact that it's shiny is mostly what she cares about.]

[Well, careful with her aim, because Roxas is shifting again, turning his head so sharply that a stroke might score right across his cheek if she happens to be holding it close.]

[......oops. well, nice as he looks with stripes, she's going to try to dust it off with her fingers.]

[Surprisingly, it's that of all things that's starting to wake him up. His eyelids flutter and he mumbles a name under his breath.]

[aaand she freezes. oh no!]

[Caught in the act. For a moment, he just stares. Then--]

What're you doing? Get off.

[scrambles for her things and tumbles off of him onto the floor.]

Huh?

[Ignoring the sad, tumbling girl, Roxas's hands fly automatically to his face, smoothing down. His gloves come away with silver.

And now he's perplexed.]
What'd you do to my face?

[Kairi's suddenly forgotten how to speak, but the powder and various tools around her should explain.]

Um... umm...

Make-up?

[Oh, his tone's all boyish disgust. He's even stripping off his gloves to scrub it off faster because leather just doesn't work for some things.]

[she covers her mouth with both hands, muffling giggles. silly Roxas.]

[He doesn't say anything, but he does give her a Look from between spread fingers, as if to say, don't laugh, at least it's working.]

[manages to quiet herself and starts to gather her things again.]

It'll wash off.

[... that's not the point. After a few more attempts to smooth it off, he lets his hands drop.]

Well, pick someone else the next time you want to try out your make-up.

[scrunches her shoulders up a bit, cradling the make-up.]

Are you mad?

[a bemused look, and the familiar answer slots right into place before he even bothers to think about it.]

... Not really.

[smiles brightly.]

Okay! I'm glad. I didn't wanna wake you up t'ask, an' this way you didn't have to hold still.

[... heyyy wait.]

Just because I'm not mad doesn't mean I would've said yes.

... What if I asked reeeeally nicely?

No.

Awww...

[pouts.]

That doesn't work, you know.

[ducks her head and giggles.]

I know.
