[ Riku's been missing for a few days now, but she's back, and fully. No longer a Nobody, she's standing with her hands in her pockets, leaning against a doorway that looks out into the main room. People going by are getting watched, but her expression isn't changing too much. Wrapped around her right hand and just barely visible, hidden as her hand is in her pocket, is a long strip of black cloth. ]

You sure about that?

[Reaches for her hair with both hands. Do ignore the blindfold tied around the right.]

[fjkld;s claps her hands to her bangs, causing that bowl to slip and shatter. ... oops. but she doesn't even notice that really--her eyes are stuck on that piece of cloth.]

... Riku?

[Whoops. Looks down at the broken dish, nudging a piece with her shoe.]

Yeah?

[... grabs the cloth, before looking up at her.]

[Funny, she's avoiding looking at her.]

What about it?

... what is it?

[this Sora hasn't been through the dramatic blindfold-taking-off scene, so she's merely inquisitive and curious. it's your reactions, Riku, that're making her concerned.]

[It wouldn't be the first time Riku screwed herself over. She frowns a little, then drops her hands in front of her, starting to unwind it.]

[she's getting the feeling that maybe it's something she shouldn't have asked, but... she'll stick through the explanation.]

[Riku shakes the blindfold loose, then pulls it tight between her fingers and holds it up in front of Sora's eyes.]

This was my mask.

[puts a hand up, looking at it carefully.]

S'not a very good one. It only covers your eyes, Riku!

[... Pulls it back, a barely-there smile on her face.]

That's all I needed it for.

[... frowns a little.]

Why?

[Hesitates.]

Because that was how it had to be.

[... looks away.]

[Drops her hands, looking at her.]

Sora?

Wish I could've found you sooner.

Wouldn't have let you.

[shoulders slump.]

Why not?

Because I didn't want you to see me.

[Frowns.]

But you--... oh.

[falls kind of quiet. remembers what she looked like before the explosion.]

[Lowers her voice, wrapping the blindfold up.]

See why?

... yeah.

[but you're still getting a hug :<]

[She doesn't mind Sora hugs. She might freeze up a bit, though.]

[she isn't letting go until she returns the hug.]

[The freezing is only momentary! See, she's returning it now.]
