[ Riku's been missing for a few days now, but she's back, and fully. No longer a Nobody, she's standing with her hands in her pockets, leaning against a doorway that looks out into the main room. People going by are getting watched, but her expression isn't changing too much. Wrapped around her right hand and just barely visible, hidden as her hand is in her pocket, is a long strip of black cloth. ]

[She is very surprised by that and kind of impressed, actually. Riku will just stay back out of the way.]

[shoves a plate in her hands, and a minute later two large pancakes plop on neatly! too bad he can't throw syrup with that kind of precision.]

[Oh, a plate-- oh, pancakes. She has to resist smiling too widely, setting the plate down after and clapping softly.]

[grins and rubs the back of his head, kind of embarrassed! maybe he should be more embarrassed by the stack of pancakes he's got for himself -- he's able to hide behind it completely when he sits at the table.]

[Riku's not really thinking anything of it. He is a Sora, after all. Which isn't to say that it's not amusing. It is. She's just afraid to see how much syrup he uses.]

[well, he went several weeks without eating, too! luckily Sora is a gentleman, and hands the bottle of syrup over to Riku, so she can have some before he tears through the rest of it.]

[That's very true. Riku's sweet tooth isn't that strong, so she doesn't use much syrup before handing it back. Just enough to lightly coat them.]

[he's just going to .. completely drown his pancakes in syrup. it's sort of hard to tell where the syrup ends and the pancakes begin.]

[cutting through the pancakes is sort of like a game of Jenga, too: if he slices it just right, it'll come toppling down on his lap -- or, right at Riku.]

[luckily he seems pretty experienced with pancake dissection.]

[Oh that's just what her hair needs. Syrup. She's cutting hers up quietly, watching with a bit of wariness.]

[he's tearing through his stack pretty fast, although he's slowly starting to lose steam maybe halfway through.]
