[There's a diminutive figure in a labcoat and unconventional purple scarf scurrying in and out of the general area of the laboratories, carrying books, equipment, anything he can think of. It looks like Xehanort's finally claimed a small corner of one for his own.
He's running around the place, fussing, arranging... this is his space! He wants it how he wants it, dammit. For a moment, he stands back.]

Now what else do I need here?...

[Hello there. Here's an Axel walking by, seeing for himself just what kind of technology and experiments go along in this place, maybe someone could tell him more about himself.. His silvery-green eyes glance your way. Arching an eyebrow, he approaches.]

What about.. looking at a person's blood, comparing them to a normal person's, and telling them what's the difference?

[Hmm. The kid's thoughtful, here.]
I've never done a blood test before... I know the theory, I think, but I don't have any practical experience. Could do a basic microscope inspection with what I've got here, but anything else... blood types, proteins, antibodies, or anything weird - that'd probably need more time to set up and check what's needed. ...Any particular reason you're asking?

Well, you see. I'm not your average type of person. I know a lot about my kind, but, I want to know more. Is there anything else, besides what I know, that differs me from the normal.. mortal?

[His smile becomes slightly sad. Oh, hey, can you see the little teeth tips sticking out of his mouth now?]

[Oh, he can see them. Still trying to act calm, though... doesn't mean anything yet. But he knows he's dealing with something unusual, at least - and he likes the idea. Did his older self ever do anything like this? he wonders...]

Correct. Though, it may be hard to do certain things to me, that you'd be able to do with someone that's normal. But, that's a long story. Hell, the whole story about me is long. Which, in turn, could make there to be nothing else to find out about me.

You see, I have little.. advanced scientific things called nanos in my blood. I honestly want to see what they look like, and if they change my blood, making it differ than that of.. your's, per say. The nanos, keep me in peak condition, never age, heal me rapidly, but require blood, hence that I am immortal, or what you would all, vampire.

[Another breath.]

The nanos also improve my senses, strength and speed. They also keep me from getting sick. Oh, and when I mentioned age, I mean, I'm actually 200 years old. But, I look about twenty something, right?

[Now. Axel stops, grinning.]

It's not even half of it. I forgot to mention, I can also read minds, and even control people weaker than myself, or those who open their mind to me.

Yes. I'd like to know.. what does it. Why does it happen, what the nanos look like and everything. I wasn't around when Atlantis was still here. So I didn't get to know how it happened and such.

[He frowns for a moment, thinking, but it's more one of concentration than anything.]

If we just want to take a look at your blood, see if it's possible to see those nanos under a microscope, all I'll really need is a drop... anything else, I'm not sure. If you know what you want me to test, I'll work out a way to test it. And I'll think about what else might work.

[This is Axel's attempt to sound smart! His teeth reappear again. Adding a small wisp to his speech.]

[He pulls on rubber gloves, dives into a drawer, and fishes a little glass slip out from a box.]

[Axel takes his gloves off of his hands, and opens his mouth fully, exposing the long canines. He then pricks his own finger, not even wincing, and holds it out to Xehanort.]

[Even a small droplet could provoke the change, the turning into an Immortal like himself.]

[He winces at the sight - but holds up the slide to take the blood drop, and smiles slightly, trying to seem at ease.]
