[He's sitting in the library, in that little corner that he's set up as a kind of classroom. There are a number of books stacked on the table, some simple math problems on the chalkboard, and he's sitting and grading a workbook with a red pen. Maybe he should take a break eventually, but right now, he's dealing with multiplication.]

I really need to get those times tables...

*aha! he knew this would work, and spreads the rest of the toys out on the table; you can even pull the letters apart and they stick back together with magnets inside*

Actually, a dog. D-O-G is dog.

[Looks at the toys again, this time looking at the letters as well.]

D...O...G...Dog!

[Big grin!]

*grins as well, moving another toy forward*

And this is a cat. C-A-T, cat!

[Grins at the new toy!]

[Pulls the letters apart, then puts them back together.]

C-A-T, cat!

Fish. F-I-S-H, Fish!

*is glad he found a way to get you to learn*

[A very fun way to learn!
She seems fascinated by the fish. She's never seen one before.]

[Playing with the fish now.]

*he's amused and will just let you play then, as he goes back to grading; but he'll be keeping an eye on you still*

[She'll just be playing with the toys then, occasionally saying the letters as well.]

*that's just fine, though he'll be sliding one of the accompanying storybooks towards you as well*

[And she'll blink, then pick up the book to have a look at.]

*it's a simple kind of storybook, the main characters being the stuffed animals you're playing with*

[Oh. Okay then! Tried to follow the story as best she can.]

*still keeping and eye on you and making sure you're doing okay*

You can take the book with you, and the animals, too. Though, I'd like it if you returned them here when you're done, so other people can learn.
