[Severely injured eight year old lying in the middle of a hallway, sup. Judging by the trail of blood behind him, he's run a good distance before the wounds got to him. His lighter is clutched in his hand, and he's just barely conscious, still struggling to move forward to find a place with those potions he'd heard about.]

[...she was just playing in a room when she heard him and peeked her head out. now there's a seven year old screaming in the middle of the hallway.]

[Ow jeez kill his ears, too, why don't you. He winces, almost curls in on himself at the noise, but decides that's too painful and just sort of... lays there.]

[she's staying where she is even after the screaming stops, clinging to the doorway and staring at him.]

A-Axel?

Wh't.

[It's barely even a mumble, but he turns his head to try and look at her.]

[if he can see her, she looks terrified.]

Stay here! I'll go get help!

[It's not quite registering how bad the injuries are to him, and he halfheartedly rolls his eyes.]

'kay.

[well he's reassuring her that he's not on the verge of death, but she's still frightened when she takes off, running at top speed for the first person she can find.]

[He'll still be laying here when she returns, drifting in and out of consciousness.]

[the calvary is here--er, Ienzo, with some potions, sanitizer, and some thick, durable bandages, like they use on large injuries. Hoorah?]

--This isn't good at all.

[Kairi's a bit ahead of Ienzo, pulling on his shirt frantically, a potion held close in her other hand.]

[He's having a round of unconsciousness, so he doesn't react when they return, though he's still obviously breathing.]

[Ienzo would rush ahead, but he knows Kairi's in a hurry herself, so he'll just tag along, trying to keep up with the worried little girl.]

[well once they get close enough she stops, scooting closer to Ienzo. she's more scared than anything.]

[Mumbles something incoherent, shifting and flinching when the pain is enough to bring him back again.]

[gulps, but approaches him, still carrying the potions and other equipment. When close enough, he crouches down and holds out a potion.]

Kairi informed me of your condition. This should be at least somewhat helpful, and we have a few more potions if necessary.

[hangs behind Ienzo, peering around from behind worriedly.]

He'll be okay, right?

[He tries to move for the potion, but his limbs feel too heavy and he doesn't move much at all.]

[...not good. He doesn't say anything quite yet, just holding the potion closer]

If you have enough strength, could you open your mouth?

[watches silently. she doesn't want to distract him.]

[Mumbles something that's probably an insult but too quiet and slurred to make out, then opens his mouth as directed.]

[and with that he'll open up the bottle and pour some potion into his mouth, then wait to see what happens]

[she's too scared to even notice that he said anything, back to tugging on Ienzo's sleeve with hushed whispers.]

Won't he be okay, Ienzo?

[One potion's not going to be enough to heal him, but it does allow him to breath easier and he lets out a nearly inaudible sigh of not-quite-relief.]

We'll see, Kairi...

[he'd hate to lie to her, so he'll keep it vague, readying another potion]

[she wants him to say he'll be okay. but she just nods and looks down, holding out the other potion.]

[He'd definitely like more potions, or anything to get rid of the pain, really.]

[well, Ienzo brought quite a few, so he'll go ahead and give him as much as necessary, pouring the next one]

[she'll be standing here the entire time, back to being silent. she's never seen that much blood.]

[Eventually the wounds are... mostly closed up, though he's still not really moving, feeling too weak from blood loss.]

[seeing that, he slows down a bit and reaches for the bandages.]

Are you feeling any better?

[don't mind her hovering over your shoulder, Ienzo.]

[Struggles to get himself at least sitting up and fails miserably.]

Mm.

[For a moment he's quiet, but then he speaks again...]

Do you need assistance? Perhaps it would be best if you rest for the time being...

[tugs on Ienzo's sleeve.]

Can we get him to a bed?

[Looks like he's about to protest, but realizes that it'd be kind of pointless to and nods.]

Alright.

[he nods, attempting to pick the kid up, since he's still weak...whether or not this will work remains to be seen]

[moves away so he's got room. don't worry, she'll pick up the rest of the supplies and carry them.]

[He's not exactly heavy, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.]

[well, he'll just grab him, then, and start heading down the hall, though going slow enough that Kairi can keep up.]
