[now that's strange. It's not quite normal to see Ienzo reading and looking bored while doing so. But indeed, here he is, seated in one of the main rooms on the same couch he usually sits at flipping through some kind of book, some tea on the table.

Though as bored as he looks, he continues to flip through the book with a sigh. Ri and his suggestions...]

[ooc: Assuming this takes place after the thread with Ri. Ienzo's being forced to read a subject that's a bit out of his league. :P]

Met him once. He ...seemed alright.

Mm, yes. I've known him for several months now; I suppose you could consider him a friend.

That being said, have you been enjoying your stay?

[He thinks for a moment before replying-]

Yeah. Overall? It's been good, so far.

Ah, excellent. Hopefully you haven't had too much trouble; some aren't very accepting of other versions of you, after all.

I've heard. I mean, most people have been okay... but it's still weird when I think about it.

Well, if it's any consolation, there are some who have treated me similarly due to the actions of a Nobody by the name of Zexion-- however, I've found that one needn't be too concerned with the poor choices of Nobodies or variations of themselves-- really, they can serve as an example of what not to do.

[He blinks slightly...]

That's what I'm trying to tell myself. Just because he made mistakes - just because they made mistakes - doesn't mean we have to.

Precisely. Being here has taught me not to tamper with the darkness, which is a mistake I could have made, had I not arrived here. Knowledge is crucial in many situations, despite the age-old saying that ignorance is bliss. Considering the risks of heart experimentation, this is one of those cases.

[He looks down.] Yeah. We kind of learned that one the hard way at home. But at least here... I can learn how to set things right, perhaps.

I'm certain that there are many who would be willing to assist you. Perhaps you could approach, for example, one of the resident Soras?

I... don't recognise the name. Who's that?

Sora is one of many Keybearers, evidently, and in most worlds he was the one who defeated the Organization, as well as the heartless of other versions of yourself. I've only spoken to a few in passing, however, so my knowledge is limited.

If not Sora, perhaps one of the older Kairis?

[He glances aside for a moment.] ...Right. I might look for him. One of him. If he doesn't mind, they don't mind - me asking.

As for Kairi? [He nods.] I've talked to one older, at least, but she wasn't from a world like ours... but perhaps, anyway.

They've always struck me as more trusting than other residents, such as Rikus, so I don't see any cause for alarm, Xehanort. It's rather clear that you're unlike your other selves, after all.

[he nods as well]

I'm rather close to a Kairi from a more mundane world than ours-- it's not too uncommon to find residents here from such places. That being said, there should be a few Kairis who are from worlds closer to our own, unless they've all left, which seems awfully doubtful.

Hope so.

[He smiles. After all, if he wanted to be any more obvious about being different, he'd need a shirt with it on.]

I'll have to see. And it'd be strange if the only Kairis were those, after all... although I suppose there's a lot of variety in worlds.

It really does vary. Many worlds seem to have similarities, some are almost identical to one another, but then there are worlds where very little similarities exist. In some worlds an event could have occurred differently, thus altering future events entirely, for example.

Should know that one, shouldn't I? [He laughs.] But it'll be interesting seeing what's out there, I think. Just how different things can be.

[aaand he laughs as well]

I suppose so. That being said, there are many unique worlds from what I've come to understand. Still, I don't quite understand how certain rooms actually contain pieces of worlds, or at least replications of them.

Just something else to find out, isn't it?
[He smiles slightly.]

That it is, although finding solutions in this world is extremely difficult. I suppose it does make for a unique challenge, however.

[He nods rather enthusiastically.] If it was easy to get the answers, there'd be no point!

True enough. Life would be rather mundane without any sort of challenges.

Yeah. I've never been interested in that.

I agree. While some do long for an 'easy ' life, I find that conflict is, in a way, a necessity.

Conflict? I ...don't know about conflict. But - not just sitting around. I can't do that.
