[Well, we haven't seen this fine young vampire in a while. But there he is, sitting at a counter and playing with a deck of cards. How uncharacteristic of him. Maybe he wants someone to play with? ]

[And he lays down three fours.]

Well then... It seems I have lost this round. Do I get one more chance?
no subject
I suppose I could find it in my heart.
no subject
Mmm... [A satisfied hum... A full house...now unless if the clever little devil had a straight flush... ]

As for the cards... simplest to say that Luxord's placed his hopes in the green-eyed Lady who's never failed him and who leaves when her name is spoken. And maybe, just maybe, a twist of probability - invisible to all but those who know what to look for.]

[But all the same the cards are laid down... and proven to be once again the better hand, all odds to the contrary.]

Oh dear...it seems I am truly no match or you, Monsieur Joueur de destin [Gambler of Fate. ]
...Now..about your reward..
no subject
[There's a faint smile at the mention of the reward.]
Ah yes. You've something already in mind I take it?
no subject
[ 298 is how old he is, btw. ]
However, I certainly do not want to misread you, Monsieur.

[Congratulations. You have successfully confused and amused a vampire. ]

[Not, of course, that he actually intends to drink Setzer's blood. Bad enough bearing the curse of a Nobody, really. To bear the curse of the vampire on top of that would be a bit much for even him.]
no subject
And how do you intend on extracting said blood from me, Monsieur?
no subject
I presume you do still bleed?
no subject
[Eyes you... Keep in mind Luxord, you are still apart of a vampire food chain, and Setzer has been playing very nicely... So far. ]
Not much can come of me. However...we could exchange.

Vampires are a curious creature... We need blood to survive. And, if we are feeling generous, to bite a victim would give them the gift of eternal life. However, I am assuming you do not want this. So i suggest for the betterment for the both of us.. I take a bit of your blood, and when I feel strong enough, allow you to take a bit of mine. A lot of sucking you know.. Or is that too morbid and disgusting for you... Monsieur Luxord?

But the rest sounds fair enough to me.
no subject
[He doesn't seem to give you much of a chance to change your mind, because he pounced on the back of your neck like a hungry lion, biting down and taking said blood. Sorry for the outburst, but he is just very very hungry... ]
no subject
So he'll just wait patiently for the time. Not like he hasn't gone through worse.]
no subject
W-well..Monsieur...how do you intend on taking it? [He seemed winded, but he was back to licking your neck...It seems he doesn't want to let go yet. ]
no subject
[And he pulls out a smallish glass vial from one of the pockets in his coat. Where he got it (or indeed whether or not it had always been there) is anyone's guess but it'll do quite nicely for catching blood; which is conveniently enough the purpose Luxord sets about putting it to.]

That will be quite enough of that, I think.
