[well, for once, Riku's not all done up in black. he's in the beach room in a pair of dark blue shut up it's not black board shorts. it looks like he's taking a break from swimming, as he's very much soaked. but he's downing water from a bottle near a duffel bag sitting on a rock that's some distance from the water. as always, he looks like he could use some bugging. not that he'd enjoy it.]

[doesn't answer until he's finished with his water, screwing the lid back on and stuffing it back into the bag. only then does he turn his attention to Roxas.]

[that's all he says, smirking faintly and turning away again to dig through the bag.]

[pulls out a candy of some sort, unwrapping it and popping it in his mouth. he glances at Roxas, raising an eyebrow in return.]

[Shrugs and pulls off his socks and shoes. He hasn't been to the beach in a while.]

[stretches for a moment, then starts trudging back to the water. have fun sitting around~.]

[Will do. He doesn't get enough sunlight anyway, so. He'll just watch from where he is and soak up the sun.]

[Well that's appropriately boring. So he'll lay back and just relax for a while. If given long enough he might even fall asleep or something.]

[it's almost an hour before he heads out of the water again, going straight to the bag without so much as a glance in Roxas' direction.]

[He seems to have curled up asleep and decided to use the bag for a pillow. Sorry about that.]

[Sora is similar to a puppy in some ways: if you feed him, he's likely to be your best friend forever! so he's off to the side a few feet away, watching Riku curiously.]

[a shadow, huh? once he's done drinking, he glances down at Sora, kind of surprised to see him.]

I dunno! What're you doing? Are you gonna make a big soup?

[gestures vaguely at the water. there's a tiny yellow chocobo at his feet as well, preening itself and fluffed out into a little ball.]

[how the hell did Sora even come to that conclusion? and the sight of the chocobo is... odd, to say the least.]

[bends over to scoop up the little fluffball.]

[vaguely curious about where said fluffball was acquired. he can remember his own Sora's excitement when they found out there was a chocobo ranch on Radiant Garden.]

Oh, don't worry, Mister Chef Riku! I got it figured out.

[pets the fluffball, and it starts peeping happily. he'll probably be shoving it in Riku's hands at some point in this conversation.]

You can make it a fish soup! 'Cause there's already fish in the sea!

The ocean's pretty dirty. It's not the kind of water you'd want to use for soup.
