[there's a brightly coloured door in one of the main areas, covered in Easter-themed paintings and stickers. inside that room is everything you'd expect to find in an Easter aisle of a big store; stuffed rabbits and other animals, chocolates of all shapes and sizes, various candies, colourful baskets, everything. and it looks like in the middle of it is a petting zoo of some sort, filled with rabbits. and inside the fencing is Kairi, giggling quietly as she's mobbed by bunnies of all sizes.]

[oh, definitely. see, she's being eaten alive! or rather, there's a tiny bunny on her shoulder nibbling her hair. beams up at him.]

I've never seen so many in the same place before.

[Doesn't he looks so much better than when he was in bed and dying?]

Well, you know what they say about putting two rabbits together in one place.

[he does! once she's freed herself from the rabbits she'll show him how happy she is to see that. just not right now, because soft cute things.]

True. Want to pet one?

[holds up a little baby bunny. you know you want tooooo.]

[Smiles dryly and pets it a bit. Soooft.]

Don't tell me you're going to keep one as a pet?

[shakes her head.]

I don't think I'd be able to keep a pet very well in a place like this. Unless it was fish or something.

[Thinks on this.]

Are you going to get a fish, then?

That eager for me to get a pet?

[lowers the bunny and sets it down, slowly trying to extract herself from the pile.]

[Offers her a hand, should she need it.]

Curious to see if you want one that bad.

[takes it, even though she didn't really need it.]

[steps out of the fencing.]

[Makes his way back towards the door, glancing at the shelves as he goes.]

[follows after him, snagging a package of peeps on the way. she hasn't microwaved any in years.]

[That should be fun. He stops once they're out of the room, looking back at her.]

So now that I can actually breathe again, what do you want to do?

[smiles innocently.]

[skips in front of him, grabs his shirt, and kisses him.]

[Well hello, pleasant surprise. Kisses back a bit.]

Been waiting all this time for that, have you?

[draws back, looking pleased.]

Mmhm.

Sorry to have kept you waiting then.

[Smirks a bit.]

It's okay, I forgive you.

[pats his arm.]

Oh good.

[Wandering off towards the kitchen now.]

I told myself I'd have one hell of a birthday celebration when I got better.

[follows after him.]
