Well, basically... it's a crossroads of dimensions. There a lot of doubles of people we know. There are a few people here that are actually the ones we know, but then there are others with completely different lives, they just share the same name and face. There's even girl versions of you and Sora and Roxas.

Actually, I am. Roxas, Axel, Demyx, and Larxene are here I know. I'm pretty sure Sora and Kairi are too, but I haven't seen them much.
