[Some may pass by the ballroom and stop to listen and hear the orchestra music that bounced off of the walls in a melodious symphony. It was something you would yearn to dance to. Of course, Sora had no idea how to do it. The tango, that is.
He was practicing and trying his hardest to keep his feet going in the right direction, stumbling a few times.
Who was his partner?
His dog, Kai. The German shepherd had his tongue sticking out while his paws were being held on to by Sora's feeble hands, standing on its hind legs and barking a bit when Sora started laughing.
It was hard to be serious when you're practicing the tango with a dog. Nonetheless he kept trying, but maybe he needed some better instructions.]

[Oops. He stilled his movements, looking over at Riku with a sheepish smile until he took in the other's expression.]

[The dog got back on all fours, wagging his tail while Sora laughed weakly rubbing the back of his head.]

[He shrunk from the criticism, nibbling on his lower lip.]

I-I know I can't dance...You don't have to say it's a disgrace.

[He won't ask, because he knows it's impolite-but hopefully wouldn't mind him just looking, to wonder what happened.]

[...Of course, out of everyone in the dressing room he stumbles upon a dance prodigy.]

[At first he just kind of stared at the prodigy, wondering if the boy was serious until that he met those eyes. He gave a small nod, trying to hide the faint blush.]

[Oh, look it's Rumpleteazer wandering into the ballroom..er, wait, no, that is Axel, dressed as Rumpleteazer. But oh..someone else here. He watches for a moment..]

[Laughs, following his dog backwards before he caught something bright and furry from the corner of his eye. Excuse him while he gives the redhead his serious 'wtf' look.]

[It talks! He was a little startled, since to him-Axel looked like a giant talking cat. But he recognized the voice, squinting to see through the stage make up.]

No need to apologize, you just kinda..scared me.

[His dog gave the redhead a glance before licking Sora's cheek.]

[The dog's ears perked up, slipping out of Sora's grip to trot over to Riku. It wasn't, so no worries.]

Kai, wait where are you-?

[Well, he sees you now.]

[Crouches down and holds her hand out. Her gaze switches to Sora, though.]

Hey. Is this...?

[The canine sniffed the outstretched hand for only a moment before licking it affectionately. Sora was walking over, tilting his head.]

What-the real Kai? No, this is just my guard dog. I named him after Kai.

Don't worry, Kai didn't get zapped with another spell or anything.

[If you happen to glance over in the corner, there's a transparent figure watching with an amused look. It's not every day you see a Sora dancing with a dog.]

[Blinks. He was trying to figure out if he was seeing this but since the figure was still there he put Kai's paws back on the floor and tried to step forward for closer inspection.]

[She can hear the music from a distance and absentmindedly follows the sound to the room, peering through the door. She tries to stifle a giggle, watching someone dance with their dog, but she has to admit, it is amusing.]

[Was Sora dancing with a dog that funny? Scratch that, it was-he knew it too since he was already having a fit of giggles from jumping around with his dog until he was just being chased by the canine with a huge smile on.]
