 [there's someone standing in the middle of a busy hallway, staring at the wall. he's been in that position for quite a while now,  without blinking and just barely breathing. his fingers are moving frantically, dancing around each other, his hands drawn up to his chest rather like a squirrel eating. except for his hands he's immobile like a statue and he doesn't seem to have noticed that he's not where he was before. or rather, he is exactly where he was before, but he's not when he was anymore.]
