Insomnia

[Don't mind the boy stumbling down a hallway with an orange and white kitten following behind him carefully. He hasn't slept in about a week and a half, and nothing's he tried has worked. Ignore any of the weird things he'll say, insomnia has a way of messing with his mind. ]

For it's much too late  to get away or turn on the light
The spiderman is having you for dinner tonight
And I feel like I'm being eaten
By a thousand million shivering furry holes~

Ugh. Shouldn't....shall not... don't listen to radio, bad for me.....

[Riku here is half asleep and has just awoken from something like a three day coma. Which explains the extremely casual clothes and generally disheveled look. She was heading to the kitchen, but the sight (and state) of him makes her pause.]

[raises an eyebrow. she's drowsy, sure, but she's aware enough.]

No idea. Can't sleep. Haven't slept. No sugarplum dreams for me.

[runs a hand through her hair, walking over.]

How long were you lying down?

[rubs an eye irritatedly.]

Tried laying down. Nothing works. Simply can't rest. Body should shut down, mind keeps whirring, tick tock tick tock.

[frowns a little then drops her hand, holding it out to him.]

[stoops to pick up Peaches before taking her hand.] I should...I will...need to say thanks in advance, no matter where I go.

[that makes her frown deepen, and she starts tugging him along in the direction of the kitchen.]

[dhsgfvdfg. kneels down and grabs his arm, slinging it over her shoulder to support him before half carrying him, half dragging him to the nearest room. (ever since she got a heart, it's becoming harder to make portals.) she's starting to think he's drunk.]

Not drunk, just tired. [lies down obediently, and Peaches hops up beside him.] Seems like forever since this happened, figured I was due for an attack. Been too nice too long.

Really bad insomnia. My dad calls it the 'no-sleep attack'. [sits up.] While away the hours just doing something, anything to knock myself out. Doesn't work too well, not at all.
