[In one of the more secluded corners of the library, someone's sitting at a desk with only a few open books. There's a small bottle of something sitting in front of him, and a syringe laid next to it- he seems to be stuck, trying to figure out what to do next. Then again, he's been sitting there thinking for the past ten minutes.]

[Stays silent a while, then smirks, though he keeps his head tilted back and his eyes closed.]

You know what you need?

[Looks over at him.]

...What?

A pet. They always have a way of making you feel better. And I know of a room that looks like a pet shop here.

[Laughs a little.]

You can't be serious.

I'm totally serious! It's like having a friend that you can never fight with.

I hadn't thought of it like that.

[He seems amused by the thought anyway.]

You said there's a room like that in here?

Yeah, I'll show you.

[Hops up and heads over to the door. lol he's steaming again.]

[Must be really pissed then. Steaming mad or something. Also, following.]

[lol no, just burning off that water that caused him to be so tired, though that happens when he's mad too! Heads down the hallway.]

It's not too far from here, actually.

[Might be considering making a steamed vegetable joke.]

And I take it you have a suggestion as to what kind of pet I'll be getting?

[As long as it doesn't include pineapples |D

Thinks about that a moment.]

I think you'd like a cat better than a dog. They don't require much maintenance, they're not rough to play with, and they'd be perfectly content just lounging around while you study.

[Pineapples =/= vegetables. He has a good point, but he's still getting the look.]

...Obviously the wings stuck to the back of me mean nothing to you.

[You can still steam pineapples >> Roxas just snorts.]

I doubt it would try to eat you. If anything the wings give it something to play with.

We can grab the least playful cat in there, how's that. Or whichever one doesn't try to eat your wings. ~~Shut up, druggy.~~

[Opens a door up to a room full of cages and bins, puppies, kittens, birds, fish, and really any animal generally kept as a pet in them.]

Here we go.

Sounds like a plan. ~~Are you trying to give me ideas?~~

[Goes inside, looking around. Hey, sweet, geckos too. That would be tempting if it wouldn't get lost so easily. Makes his way over to the cats, picking through them.]

~~Are you trying to give me heart problems?~~ This one's cute.

[Picks up one of the sleeping ones and pets its head.]

[Studies it, giving it a small pet on the head.]

Yeah, it is. ~~A little late for that, isn't it.~~

[It meows and stretches a bit, blinking up at Riku.]

Seems pretty mellow. ~~Oh great, I'm going to die of a heart attack now, aren't I?~~

...Mellow is good.

[Unfolds a wing and sticks it in range of the kitten to see its reaction.]

[It sticks its paw out and bats at the wing for a moment, but doesn't use its claws or anything, probably only batting at it because the wing is in front of it. But the kitten loses interest quickly and settles back down in Roxas's arms.]

I don't think the cat is interested in it. Probably just curious at first.

[Folds the wing back, petting the kitten again. And actually smiling genuinely for once!]

[VICTOLY. Roxas glance up and sees that, holding up the cat before handing it to him.]

What gender?

[Peeks down there before taking it.]

I'm fairly sure it's a she.

[And she can take up residence in his arms now.]

[He'll just go about grabbing some cat things in the room.]

Any ideas for a name?
