[Riku wasn't sure if it was something he ate, or if he had got the flu. Either way, he wasn't feeling so hot. The door to his room was wide open, a bottle of water dropped haphazardly on the floor, with the door to the bathroom mostly closed.]

[Axel's never going to trust your cooking, Riku. Having not been staying there since... Well, a few weeks ago, Axel was only dropping by to grab a few things when he noticed the water bottle and the bathroom light on, with the door cracked.]/small>

... Riku? [He knocks on the door softly.]

[More like Axel shouldn't just eat random precooked food he finds in the fridge like Riku did. At least by the time he hears a knock on the door, he's moved on to dry heaving, rather than puking. Between gagging noises, Riku manages to speak.]

Wh... what?

[Okay, now he's concerned. Axel pushes the door open a little, peeking in.] Are you okay?

[Riku wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, glancing up at Axel. He probably looks like hell.]

F-fine...

Geez, man... No you're not. You're pale as fuck. [He disappears for a moment and comes back with the water bottle, holding it out to him.] Here...

[raises a brow] ...Pale as fuck?

[He's managed to get to his feet when Axel comes back, leaning most of his weight on the sink. Riku takes the water bottle when it's offered, using some to rise out his mouth and spit in the sink.]

... You know what I meant. [Axel moves over to Riku to feel his forehead.] I think you've caught something.

[Swats at Axel's hand a little, though he doesn't have the energy to really put a lot of effort into it.]

I noticed...

[As much as he enjoys standing in the bathroom that smells like puke... Riku turns to flush the toilet and pushes past Axel to go lay down on the bed.]

[He backs away, out of Riku's way, and takes a few hesitant steps closer to the bed.] Do you need anything? I mean, since I'm here and all... [He rather doubted anyone else would be as considerate.]

[Riku crashes on the bed, not bothering to get under the covers, just curling up a little.]

'M fine...

... No medicine or anything? Uh... Okay, I guess I'll leave you alone, then... [Right... The things he'd come back for. Well, Riku was on the bed so he wasn't going to worry about his pillow or anything. He'd snag some from another room or something. Axel grabbed a couple changes of clothes out of the dresser and stuffed them in a bag.] Well... I'll be around if you need me. Not that... You will, or anything. So...

I just puke up any medicine I take... [He sounded kind of grumpy. Riku didn't really pay any attention to what Axel was doing.]

Mm... alright...

... Sounds pretty bad. [Should he go? Riku doesn't seem like he's in very good shape, and he kind of owes him...]

I'll live... [Riku curls up up a bit more, shivering.]

[Riku's shivering was apparently his deciding factor. Axel set the bag down with a sigh and moved over to the bed, taking the blanket folded up at the end of it and draping it over Riku.] Not if you keep it up like this, you won't.

[He jumped a little when the blanket was dropped on him, glancing up at Axel.]

Wha...? I'm fine...

You've got a fever and you're puking up everything you try to put in yourself. A few more days of this and you could be dangerously dehydrated. At least try a fever reducer?

[Riku tugs the blanket around him closer, feeling a little better with the added warmth.]

Mm... I tried earlier...

Try again? You should really get that fever down...

I don't feel like moving...

[He really should have brought the bottle of pills with him, but he didn't think about it at the time.]

[He had sort of forgotten about it, since the whole threesome thing. He'd mostly just been trying to think of ways to make himself forget about it.]

[Riku just huffs.]
