[some distance from the main area there's the sound of an explosion, followed by something shattering, and then a Vexen falls through a door. he looks older than most Vexens, especially given the grey streaking his hair. he's got a somewhat torn lab coat on, and that shield Vexens are known for is on the floor next to him.

...he's just going to lie here for a bit and wait for the dizziness to leave.]

[stretches and stands up again, looking somewhat restless.]

Well... it's a long story. And a very strange one.

[he sits down again.]

I had a dream. Or... something like a dream. I was asleep, but I'm sure it really happened because my eye was still gone in it. And there was this guy there...

[settles down nearby to listen.]

And I've never seen the guy before! But I know he was real, because... well, I just know. And he said so. But anyway, I tried to wake up because he said really disturbing things about me. Things that might be true. But I couldn't wake up.

[he gesticulates wildly to the story, which is a good thing. the enthusiasm means he's not going to go into creepy mode at the moment.]

[where'd that notebook and pencil come from? who knows, but he's writing down everything Roxas says.]

And he said that... the cake is a lie. Which means that things that looks good aren't always. And that... temptation is bad, I think.
And then he said... that there would be bloodshed. If I didn't listen. Either I would be the cause... or the blood would be mine. He never explained... or I don't remember. It's all sort of... fuzzy.

[continues writing, looking thoughtful.]

That is quite odd.

[he nods.]

Yeah. I've dreamt about him again... but I think the rest was all in my head. The problem is, I can't remember what he looked like, or what his name was...

While there were some truths to those statements, and I am sure it is difficult to ignore something like that, it would most likely be best to keep it from your thoughts as much as you can.
